The Academy’s Weakest Became A Demon-Limited Hunter
Chapter 368: Side Story — Pregnancy (1)

As I stepped out of the tent, the cool breeze gently caressed my skin.

Since the inside of the tent had become unbearably hot, I used my magic to release cool air and lower the temperature.

Inside, Kaya laid fast asleep, completely naked under a blanket. Exhausted, she had passed out at some point.

It still felt like Kaya’s moans and cries were ringing in my ears. She had switched between her normal self and her ravenous personal while pouncing on me. We had quite an interesting exchange.

Before I knew it, the sky was brightening. I let the morning breeze wash over my bare body, then rinsed off in the stream. After that, I took out a spare set of clothes from my magic pouch and got dressed.

Should I go get breakfast?

Chrrrk!

I transformed my body into cold air and melded into nature.

Once I arrived at the shopping district near the academy, I pulled my hood down over my face. If people recognized me, things would get noisy.

I stopped by a store, bought some food, and returned to the campsite.

“Eden, come out.”

Ssss…

Light brown mana rose into the air and formed into a small rock golem.

It was my familiar, Eden.

[Kyuuu!]

Eden raised its short arms and greeted me with a cheerful expression.

“I’m preparing breakfast, so help me out.”

[Kyuuu, kyuu!]

Eden gathered mana and layered more rocks onto his body, growing to my size.

Kugugu.

I used rock magic to create a sturdy table and chairs, while Eden set up the food.

Sensing mana, I already knew Kaya was about to wake up.

She probably felt like she had worked herself to the bone all night, but she needed to soothe her stomach first.

“Isaac…?”

“You’re awake?”

Sure enough, Kaya stepped out of the tent, covering her front with the blanket. Her legs wobbled slightly, and her face was still drowsy.

I walked up to Kaya, gave her a kiss, and reached into my magic pouch to hand her the hooded robe I had prepared earlier.

“Eat a little to settle your stomach and then get some more sleep.”

“Haaaa…”

“Hm?”

Kaya’s face turned bright red, and steam seemed to rise from her. Even her eyes and lips were trembling.

I didn’t expect such a reaction from just a morning kiss. Considering how much we had done all night, this was nothing.

“D, d-did we really do… that kind of thing?”

She must not believe it.

“We did.”

“I… with you, Isaac… really…?”

“Let’s eat, Dear.”

“Kugh…!”

After I tried showing a little affection, Kaya suddenly stiffened like a rock and collapsed backward.

“…?”

Isn’t that an overreaction…?

***

I went to say goodbye to my classmates, who had been drinking all night. They questioned me about what had happened last night, but since it involved my fiancés, I avoided answering.

Before leaving the academy.

I met my fiancé, Snow White.

“Senior Isaac, are you leaving?”

White came to see me off, accompanied by her escort knight, Merlin.

Beside me was the white dragon, Frost Dragon Hilde, summoned and waiting.

Kaya and Merlin were having a separate conversation.

“I have to go now. I only came for the reunion.”

“Ah…”

White kept running her fingers through her snowy white hair for no reason, lowering her head slightly.

There was a hint of regret on her face.

“When will I see you again…?”

“Soon. Your graduation isn’t far off, is it?”

“Time is passing too slowly…”

“If you keep enjoying the thrill of showing off like you did when I arrived, time will fly by.”

“Huuu, don’t tease me…!”

As I answered with a bright smile, White let out a shallow gasp and her eyes grew misty.

I leaned in slightly, kissed her cheek, and gazed at her warmly.

“I’ll come again. For now, focus on the academy. Got it?”

“You still treat me like a child, Senior Isaac…” White whimpered in frustration, then closed her eyes and took a deep breath to collect herself.

Then she opened her eyes again, looking at me with a sorrowful gaze, stretching her arms wide.

“Hug me. So I can endure the time left until we meet again.”

“Of course.”

I embraced White tightly and held her for a while.

“But Senior Isaac.”

“Hmm?”

“Why can’t Senior Kaya walk?”

Kaya was floating in the air, wrapped in wind magic. Seeing this, White seemed puzzled.

“Well… a lot happened,” I answered with an awkward smile.

After that, Kaya and I climbed onto Hilde’s back.

I deliberately seated Kaya in front of me. Just in case, so I could catch her if needed. After last night’s exertion, I was worried she might have some issues.

“I’m going! See you again!”

White waved her arms wide, while Merlin bowed politely.

As Hilde flapped her wings, a cold wind blew. We ascended into the sky and soon soared across it.

I spread a light telekinetic force in front of us to minimize the wind’s impact.

We leisurely made our way toward Düpfendorf.

“…?”

But for some reason… smoke was rising from Kaya’s head.

Even from behind, I could tell her neck had turned bright red.

“Kaya, are you okay?”

“Hyaa…!”

When I leaned in close and whispered into Kaya’s ear, she let out a strange sound and flinched in surprise.

“Y-yes…!?”

Kaya quickly turned to look at me, then immediately averted her gaze. Her round green eyes spun in circles.

“W-what do you mean by okay…?”

“You’ve been acting strange since earlier.”

“I’m sorry… It’s hard to look at your face…”

It seemed like the aftermath had hit her hard.

“Hmm…”

In that case, some special measures were needed.

“What about this?”

“Eeek…!”

I wrapped my arms around Kaya’s waist and rested my chin on her shoulder.

Completely trapped, Kaya let out a strange groan and stiffened.

“I-Isaac…! If you do this…! M-my heart…! I’ll die!”

No matter how hard she tried, she probably wouldn’t die.

“You won’t die. You just need to stop resisting.”

“Khuk…!”

When I chuckled and hugged her tighter, Kaya looked like she was about to cough up blood.

[You rascals!]

At that moment, Hilde’s displeased voice echoed.

[What are you two doing on my back!? My back is not a place for such things!]

“I’ll hold and pet you like this later too, Hilde.”

[Then I have no complaints.]

Hilde backed off easily.

After that, Kaya remained stiff until we arrived at Düpfendorf.

Once we arrived, she collapsed like a person who had lost their soul.

…Maybe I went too far.

***

“President!”

“Dorothy!”

Swoosh.

As soon as I saw Dorothy, I buried my face in her large chest. It was heaven—soft and warm.

Dorothy, as if expecting this, wrapped her arms around the back of my head.

“A-ah…!”

As I leaned my weight forward, Dorothy panicked and fell backward onto the bed.

Her long, light purple hair spread across the bed.

On top of Dorothy, I kept taking deep breaths, my face buried in her chest.

“Nihihihi, as expected, you’re such a perv~? You really love my chest, huh~?”

Dorothy giggled and stroked my hair.

When I teasingly ran my fingers over her smooth underarms and arms, she let out a giggle, saying, “That tickles…!”

“Where’s Kaya?”

“She came with me. For some reason, she passed out. I took her to her room, but she’s fine.”

“Did you push her too hard? Even I struggled a lot at first, you know?”

“That was… inevitable. Where’s Luce?”

“She’s probably waiting for you to come first. She seemed a little upset.”

That sounds about right.

“That’s why I deliberately waited for you in your room!” Dorothy answered triumphantly.

“In the meantime… I mean?”

She subtly let out a suggestive tone.

I lifted my head and looked down at Dorothy. She was smiling slyly, her cheeks flushed red.

Perhaps because she had been constantly receiving my warm breath against her chest, she, too, seemed to be heating up.

Judging by her aroused state, I figured it would be okay even if I pounced on her.

Hmm?

I was quietly gazing into Dorothy’s starlit eyes.

Curiously, she soon averted her gaze, as if something had come to mind. She couldn’t directly look at me.

Her pupils shifted to the side, and her lips were hesitant.

Dorothy seemed to have something to say, aside from her excitement.

“Something’s up, isn’t it?”

“Huh?”

“Tell me now.”

“Nyahaha… I guess we’ve broken the ice enough, huh…?”

Dorothy cleared her throat awkwardly.

“You see… I wasn’t sure for a while, but I think it’s real. I was wondering how to say it…”

“Yeah?”

Dorothy made an effort to meet my eyes as she spoke, “I think… I’m pregnant.”

My eyes widened in shock.

For a moment, my mind went blank.

An indescribable whirlwind of emotions surged through me.

Dorothy averted her gaze momentarily before cautiously looking back at me.

“President…? W-why are you like that!? Was it too sudden!?”

Dorothy was visibly flustered.

“No, it’s just… it was unexpected, so I’m a bit overwhelmed.”

Memories of Dorothy’s death surfaced in my mind.

Even after losing everything, she had managed to survive.

Even after barely building a reason to live, she had to sacrifice everything once more.

The woman before me had, in the end, faced death with a bright smile.

She had become my fiancé, and now, she was going to be the mother of my child.

As that thought settled in, my vision blurred.

I couldn’t help but smile.

Thank you. I love you. Truly.

With only those words in my heart, I showered Dorothy, the woman I loved dearly, with endless kisses.

Life was too short to do anything but to love.

So I would devote my life to loving this woman with all my heart.

For a while, a grand celebration was held in Düpfendorf.

Every day, I imagined life after our child was born, talked about it with Dorothy, and laughed a lot.

Truly, a lot.
