Chapter 465: Chapter 465 Game

"Why are you up?"

Shen Siyuan was a bit surprised to see Ruan Hongzhuang. He was very aware of how exhausted she had been before.

"I’m thirsty, just got up for a drink of water."

Ruan Hongzhuang plopped down beside him, watching Mario bounce around on their screen.

"Why are you up playing games with them in the middle of the night?" Ruan Hongzhuang asked curiously.

"They don’t need to sleep at night and feel lonely, so I came to teach them how to play games," Shen Siyuan replied.

"Wow, you made it over that jump!"

At that moment, Dou Dou cheered from Shen Siyuan’s arms.

But Duoduo wasn’t happy and said angrily, "Hmph, it’s because brother helped you."

"Then I’ll help you play together."

Ruan Hongzhuang maneuvered around Shen Siyuan and sat Duoduo in her own lap.

"Do you know how to play games?" Shen Siyuan glanced at her sideways.

He knew Ruan Hongzhuang was a top student, but being good at games wasn’t just about being a top student.

Though Shen Siyuan was not great academically, he prided himself on being quite the gamer.

"Don’t underestimate me, just wait and see."

"Yeah, don’t underestimate us, we’re really good," Duoduo said immediately.

In that instant, she had sided completely with Ruan Hongzhuang.

To be fair, anything a top student does, they excel at. Though Ruan Hongzhuang just started with this game, once past the initial phase, her various operations were truly impressive.

If it weren’t for Shen Siyuan’s cultivation, which increased his physical reaction speed, he might not have been able to outperform her.

Though Ruan Hongzhuang’s hand speed couldn’t match Shen Siyuan, her brain’s reaction speed definitely surpassed his.

Engrossed in the game, Ruan Hongzhuang lost track of time, and when she came to her senses, it was already 4:30 AM. Sleepiness washed over her; she felt completely drained, lacking even the strength to stand.

Shen Siyuan simply lifted her in a princess carry.

As for Duoduo and Dou Dou, they were deep in an intense duel now.

Shen Siyuan had bought them plenty of fun games and taught them how to play, so they wouldn’t be bored for a long time.

"I’m doomed, how am I going to work at the company tomorrow?" Ruan Hongzhuang mumbled sleepily, curled up in Shen Siyuan’s arms.

"Then just don’t go. You’re the boss, aren’t you?" Shen Siyuan said with amusement.

He gently placed her on the bed and tucked her in.

"I can’t, there are too many things waiting for me to handle tomorrow."

Ruan Hongzhuang muttered softly with her eyes closed.

"Don’t worry, it won’t delay your work."

Shen Siyuan gently brushed her forehead and then kissed her softly on the lips.

Ruan Hongzhuang didn’t respond at all because she had already fallen asleep, even letting out a slight snore.

Shen Siyuan didn’t go back to sleep either. He left the room quietly and gently closed the door.

However, he didn’t return to play games with Duoduo and Dou Dou. Instead, he went straight to the balcony and started practicing the "Great Arhat Eighteen Forms."

Given his current constitution, staying up all night didn’t affect him at all.

As he moved through each posture, his muscles and bones were pulled, stretched, and compressed by immense power, causing great pain.

Shen Siyuan could actually immerse his mind in his Sea of Consciousness, severing the connection to his body to block out all the pain.

But he was unwilling to do so because enduring pain was the best exercise for the will.

So, even in the cool dawn, Shen Siyuan was sweating like rain, huge drops of sweat fell to the ground, soaking a large part of the balcony.

During this process, every second, Shen Siyuan thought about giving up. But every second, he also told himself to hold on a bit longer, pushing through each moment, advancing step by step.

An ordinary person’s body would have given up long ago under such strain, but Shen Siyuan’s body contained vast Five Elements Qi, replenishing him with vigorous life force, constantly healing him, preventing him from collapsing into a heap.

This was also why Shen Siyuan never considered teaching Ruan Hongzhuang the "Great Arhat Eighteen Forms." In this world without Spiritual Energy, Ruan Hongzhuang couldn’t even complete the first stage before her body would collapse, and even if Shen Siyuan could use Merit to convert Spiritual Energy to nourish her, it wouldn’t be enough to counteract the damage.

As the first rays of morning sunlight pierced the night sky, the great sun in Shen Siyuan’s Sea of Consciousness also emitted the light of dawn, cutting through the chaos in the Sea of Consciousness.

In Shen Siyuan’s perception, a small figure appeared beside him.

Twisting his body, he slowly drew back his movements, his thoughts returning from the ocean of pain to his brain, slowly opening his tightly closed eyes, he saw Tang Tang standing barefoot nearby, struggling to mimic Shen Siyuan’s movements, her pink plush bear thrown at her feet.

"This isn’t something you can learn, be careful not to hurt yourself," Shen Siyuan tapped her little head.

"Han~"

Tang Tang obediently straightened up and picked up the big plush bear again.

"Why are you up so early?" Shen Siyuan asked with a smile.

"I dreamed of brother," Tang Tang said.

"Really? What did you dream about?"

"I dreamed about many... many... um... big monsters..."

Tang Tang struggled to describe it.

"And then? Did the big monster eat brother?" Shen Siyuan asked curiously.

Tang Tang shook her head, "Brother defeated the big monster, and then... there was a hole in the sky..."

Tang Tang said, pointing upward, and Shen Siyuan followed her finger.

The dawn sky was painted with brilliant colors, driving away the stars, leaving only a waning moon. The sky was stunning, like a beautiful computer wallpaper.

Yet, in Tang Tang and Shen Siyuan’s eyes, it wasn’t just that; a golden net covered the sky above them.

"You mean the net broke a hole?" Shen Siyuan asked pensively.

Tang Tang nodded and then smiled happily.

Shen Siyuan didn’t know whether it was just a simple dream or if it might really happen in the future, but worrying about it was pointless.

He picked her up and said, "Go back inside and change clothes, be careful not to catch a cold. Where are your shoes?"

"Um~" Tang Tang pointed towards her room.

"Next time, don’t run around the house barefoot," Shen Siyuan gently smacked her little bottom twice.

"Han~han~"

Tang Tang wasn’t scared at all and giggled twice.

Just then, Mao Sanmei came rushing out of the room. Seeing Shen Siyuan holding Tang Tang, she let out a sigh of relief and quickly gestured apologies to Shen Siyuan.

Shen Siyuan waved it off and handed Tang Tang back to her, motioning for her to take Tang Tang back to change clothes.

Dou Dou and Duoduo, hearing the noise, came running out from the gaming room. Seeing Tang Tang, they immediately gathered around her.

Mao Sanmei was surprised to see the two and wondered when they arrived, and so early too.

"Han~"

Tang Tang, however, wasn’t surprised by their presence at all and waved at them happily.

Dou Dou took the chance to snatch the pink plush bear from Tang Tang’s hand.

Haha, now this bear is mine.

"Oh~ oh~"

Tang Tang got angry and immediately started to wail. This was the first toy Shen Siyuan gave her, her favorite.

Duoduo jumped in to help retrieve it, and in no time, the room was full of lively energy.
