Ten Thousand Soul Banner: Deceased, do you have any unfulfilled wishes? -
Chapter 404 Silly Taozi
Chapter 404: Chapter 404 Silly Taozi
Shen Siyuan put away his phone and asked in surprise, "Why have you guys come back?"
"It’s not fun at all," Xiao Yue said.
Duoduo nodded in agreement.
It turns out that after Shen Siyuan summoned Dou Dou back, they quickly realized it was not interesting.
Duoduo didn’t talk much, so she couldn’t really fit in with Sun Chunsu and Sun Muyun, and He Qingyan kept bugging Xiao Yue with questions.
Annoyed by the questioning, Xiao Yue decided to just head back with Duoduo, and they happened to bump into Dou Dou on the way.
"So that’s it. Well, since you’re back already, are you planning to return to Gulu City?" Shen Siyuan asked.
On hearing this, Duoduo burst into laughter.
The Gulu City that Shen Siyuan mentioned, referred to the Creation World inside the Ten Thousand Soul Banner, which never had a specific name until Duoduo casually named it.
Now hearing it from Shen Siyuan’s mouth, Duoduo found it amusing.
"Let Dou Dou and Duoduo go back first, I have something I want to talk to you about," Xiao Yue said.
"Uh? You guys are talking about secrets, I want to listen too," Dou Dou said, suddenly popping out from behind Xiao Yue.
But Shen Siyuan didn’t care for her chatter and directly performed the finger formula to pull her and Duoduo into the Ten Thousand Soul Banner.
"Sit down and tell me slowly," Shen Siyuan said to Xiao Yue.
Xiao Yue materialized her form and sat down on a chair next to him.
She stretched her legs out straight as if to make her presence felt more profoundly.
Shen Siyuan didn’t urge her but sat beside her waiting for her to speak, although he was curious about what she wanted to say.
"Those twins, they are not her husband’s children," Xiao Yue blurted out.
Shen Siyuan was stunned for a moment before he realized.
"Do you mean to say that He Qingyan’s twin daughters are not Judge Sun’s?" Shen Siyuan asked in surprise.
"Why would you think that?"
"Because Sun Chunsu and Sun Muyun, the two little sisters, don’t resemble their father at all," Xiao Yue said.
Shen Siyuan: ...
"Isn’t that a bit too presumptive of you? They could resemble their grandparents, or it might be a case of skipping a generation," Shen Siyuan explained with a mixture of laughter and helplessness.
"No, today the little sisters’ dad bought a fishing rod not for fishing but to visit a friend; the rod was a gift for the friend..." Xiao Yue said.
"And the two little sisters, they really resemble that friend."
Shen Siyuan found this relationship explosive.
The wife bore another man’s children, and Sun Xinghai not only didn’t get mad but even bought a fishing rod as a gift for him; what magnanimity, Shen Siyuan felt inferior.
"I think the little sisters’ mother looks at him with strange eyes..." Xiao Yue continued.
She was actually very sensitive to such matters, easily catching hidden emotions.
"The little sisters’ dad’s friend also looked very sad, sadder than their dad, scruffy, with a weary face, looking like he wanted to die, just kept drinking..."
Listening to all this, Shen Siyuan became thoughtful.
He had previously felt that He Qingyan’s death wasn’t as simple as said, and now he vaguely had some idea.
Whether Sun Xinghai truly didn’t mind or if he had deep schemes secretly plotted.
Shen Siyuan had some guesses in his heart, but the specifics would depend on whether Zhong Xiaonan and others found out anything tomorrow.

"Siyuan, are you up yet?"
Shen Siyuan was groggy when he heard the knocking sound, he picked up his phone and saw it was just six fifty, not even seven o’clock yet.
But he still got out of bed to open the door.
Sure enough, Taozi stood there smiling like a blooming flower.
"So early?"
"It’s you who got up late, here, I bought you breakfast," Taozi said, raising her right hand which held a big bag of breakfast treats.
"You came over this early just to have breakfast?"
"What else? Hurry up and brush your teeth and wash up, some of the breakfast items won’t taste good once they cool down."
Taozi walked straight into the room, through to the balcony, and sat down where she was seated yesterday.
Shen Siyuan quickly finished washing up and sat down opposite Taozi, eyeing her carefully.
"You look a bit different today."
"Where did you change? Is it because you changed your clothes?"
Taozi spread her arms and showed off her outfit, she had changed into a more mature style of clothes today.
"The way you dress does make you look a bit like Ruan Ruan, but that’s not what I meant. You seem to be in a very good mood today."
Caught off guard by his comment, Taozi then nodded heavily, "I’ve figured some things out."
Shen Siyuan picked up a pair of disposable chopsticks and opened the breakfast Taozi had bought.
"Did your grandma help you through it?"
Taozi’s cheeks flushed instantly, making her whole presence warm up.
She stuttered: "How... how did you know?"
"Why are you so nervous?" Shen Siyuan asked curiously.
"You... you still haven’t told me, how did you know, what... what do you know?"
"I don’t know anything, Dou Dou told me, she said Great Grandmother told you a secret and wouldn’t let her listen," Shen Siyuan explained.
Relief washed over Taozi upon hearing this, but a hint of disappointment lingered.
"So that’s it."
Watching Taozi change expressions like a chameleon, Shen Siyuan couldn’t help but find it amusing.
"What exactly did you talk about with Grandma? Are you so nervous about that?" Shen Siyuan asked curiously.
"Dou Dou said it was a secret, naturally, I can’t tell you either," Taozi said proudly.
"It’s okay if you don’t tell me, I can just guess."
Shen Siyuan teased her, pretending to calculate by counting on his fingers.
"No... no way... you can’t guess... you can’t..."
Taozi grabbed Shen Siyuan’s finger-counting hands.
The flush that had faded from her face returned.
"Huh?"
Shen Siyuan was surprised for a moment, finding this quite amusing.
"The more you do this, the more curious I get. I won’t guess now, I’ll guess after you leave," Shen Siyuan said.
"I won’t do this anymore, stop being curious, please don’t guess, okay?"
Taozi let go of Shen Siyuan’s hands, clasping her own hands together in a pleading gesture.
Seeing her so anxious, Shen Siyuan decided to stop teasing her and said with a smile, "Alright, let’s have breakfast, I won’t guess anymore."
"Really?"
"Of course, it’s true."
Relieved, Taozi picked up her chopsticks, but still couldn’t help glancing at Shen Siyuan.
The breakfast that was once fragrant, now tasted waxen.
However, Shen Siyuan had no clue about this and enjoyed the meal a lot, truly Taozi has good taste in choosing food.
The selection was great; hence the breakfast Taozi had painstakingly bought from several places mostly went into Shen Siyuan’s stomach.
"What’s wrong? Not hungry this morning?"
Shen Siyuan cheerfully cleaned up the table’s rubbish.
"→_→, are you really that bad?" Taozi sulkily said.
"Where am I bad?"
"Alright, you stop guessing, I’ll tell you, okay?" Taozi said.
"Oh? Didn’t you say it was a secret? Am I allowed to know?" Shen Siyuan showed intrigued expression.
"What else can I do? If I don’t tell you, will you never know?"
Taozi suddenly looked suspiciously at Shen Siyuan.
"That’s impossible, these little tricks are nothing," Shen Siyuan started pretending to calculate with his fingers again.
Taozi grabbed his hand once more.
"I’ll tell you myself."
"Go on..."
Shen Siyuan appeared nonchalant, but inwardly he was laughing to himself.
He didn’t have such abilities, he was just bluffing Taozi.
