Tale of the Red Dragon Without Dragon’s Might -

Chapter 471: Chapter 463: Free Fighting
Leon moved his head and flexed his knuckles, slowly walking toward the Ocean Goddess, not taking out his Divine Sword like last time. The reason was that cutting off the Ocean Goddess’s head and arms was useless, as she could easily reattach them at any moment.
The Ocean Goddess was right in front of him. Leon let out a final roar, charging forward. He jumped up, raised his fist, and punched the tip of the trident the Ocean Goddess thrust out. At the moment of impact, sparks flew and exploded.
The Ocean Goddess withdrew her trident, but Leon had no intention of stopping.
Seizing the moment the Ocean Goddess retracted her trident, he swiftly closed in on her. He allowed the Ocean Goddess’s octopus-like lower body, with her moray eel-like tentacles opening wide to bite him. The rows of sharp teeth and incredible bite force pierced through his skin. He tackled the Ocean Goddess, rolling in the seawater.
The two of them rolled three times in the sea.
Leon now straddled the Ocean Goddess’s chest, delivering a punch to her head, knocking her face askew.
One punch wasn’t enough, of course. Finishing with his right fist, he struck with his left, then switched back to his right. Every punch landed with the momentum of splitting mountains. Leon didn’t know how many times he punched, eventually smashing the Ocean Goddess’s head into a grand explosion, shattering into a spray of water and foam.
Leon hadn’t even caught his breath when the Ocean Goddess’s newly formed head emerged from the sea, saying, "It’s useless."
"It’s useful! It’s damn useful!" Leon raised his hands, "Satisfying, really satisfying."
After speaking, Leon reached behind himself, grabbing either the Ocean Goddess’s tentacle or the moray eel that replaced it. It had rough suckers, so he figured it was a tentacle. Then he stood up from the Ocean Goddess, lifted his left foot, and stomped heavily on her stomach, yanking the tentacle off and tossing it far away.
"I told you it was useless." The Ocean Goddess said, as another tentacle grew from the original spot.
"I know." Leon grabbed a moray eel replacing a tentacle with his left hand and a tentacle with his right, tying them together into a dead knot. He glanced over the Ocean Goddess, grabbed her wrist, spun around in place, and hurled her up, creating a tsunami as she fell.
Leon didn’t stop, relentlessly pursuing like a relentless shadow. As he neared the Ocean Goddess’s head, he lifted his foot back and kicked it like a soccer ball: a shot like a space wing.
"Resist, why don’t you resist? Are you afraid?" Leon said, snapping one of the Ocean Goddess’s arms, causing a sharp sound of bones dislocating. He stepped over her, clamping her neck with an iron grip, lifting her entirely, and pounding her undulating abdomen with his right fist.
Men and women are equal, I hit women just as hard.
The Ocean Goddess suddenly erupted, finally beginning to fight back. She didn’t use her trident, as it was unwieldy in close combat. Instead, her five fingers expanded, nails transforming into sharp claws shimmering with a cold light, slashing at Leon’s face, instantly carving five bloody lines which dripped down the fierce contours of his face.
"Yes, just like that." Leon licked the blood at the corner of his mouth, letting out a hearty laugh.
Laughing, Leon grabbed the Ocean Goddess’s head with both hands. Using his height advantage, he pressed down fiercely while lifting his knees, his knee battering her chest like a cannonball.
Compared to Dragon Form, he was indeed more accustomed to human form; nothing felt as satisfying as flesh hitting flesh rather than wielding weapons.
The Ocean Goddess wouldn’t die so easily. She let out a sharp screech, clasping Leon’s head with both hands, four tentacles coiling around his legs, each sucker with barbs inside, while the moray eels replaced the tentacles, curling around his arms, biting his wrists.
"Trying to lock me down?" Leon looked around, spotting an island. He took two steps toward the island, a fierce look flashing in his eyes. He leaped onto the island. He wasn’t afraid of the giant mountain spikes piercing him, as he’d use the Ocean Goddess as a cushion.
The Ocean Goddess’s waist was fiercely struck by the island’s giant mountain peak, causing her to scream in agony, releasing Leon.
Leon seized the opportunity to grab the Ocean Goddess’s octopus-tentacle-like hair, dragging her through the sea. He picked up the fallen trident, stabbing it fiercely into her tentacle, piercing it through, twisting it, using the tentacle like a rope to coil around the trident’s shaft, and finally stabbing into her belly, saying, "Squid skewer... no, octopus skewer."
"I also like to eat eel." Leon tore off a moray eel replacing a tentacle, taking a bite but spitting it out. The reason it was awful was because the Ocean Goddess’s Divine Power was toxic to him.
Leon roared in excitement, his roar shattering the thin clouds, only to see the Ocean Goddess with an eerie curve at the corner of her mouth, asking, "What are you saying?"
"I’m counting." The Ocean Goddess pulled out the trident, pushed herself up with both hands, her voice exuding a chill from the deep sea, "How long can you last?"
Leon’s tail impatiently slapped the water’s surface. He walked half a circle around the Ocean Goddess, saying, "The bigger the movements, the faster the Mana depletes. Probably another minute, so I need to catch my breath."
Leon dispersed the Dharma Body, transforming into the Super Giant Red Dragon.
"This is what I’ve been waiting for!" The Ocean Goddess’s eyes flashed with ecstasy, her trident hurled with the force of Thunder.
However, Leon had already turned into a stream of light, leaving behind a mocking echo in the air, "You’re too slow."
"I want to see where you can run." The Ocean Goddess watched the fleeting light on the horizon, her expression grim. She had let the Red Dragon beat her for so long, but the hard-earned opportunity went entirely unused. Unyielding, she pursued in the direction the light departed.
Gods could teleport instantly, but it required a Divine Position in travel. By the time the Ocean Goddess reached the place where Leon had landed, she could only see Leon, who had used Nine Breath Qi to restore his Mana, once again becoming a giant standing tall as a mountain, sitting leisurely on a high peak waiting for her.
"I’ve been waiting for you for a long time. You finally came." Leon stood up, "While waiting for you, I thought of a few new tricks."
Leon strode up, grasping the Ocean Goddess’s head with both hands, starting another fierce battle.
This situation occurred repeatedly, with a similar situation happening again.
"I’ve had enough." The Ocean Goddess spoke, with water seeping from the gills behind her ears, "I will destroy your Volcanic Island, destroy your Zhen Dan Kingdom."
"Destroy it, destroy it all." Leon showed no fear, nor a pretense of calm composure, but rather a sense of relief, "Once it’s gone, I’ll be free, no more burdens."
The Ocean Goddess looked seriously at the Red Dragon, her pupils contracting. She had never seen such a mad gaze. The Red Dragon was speaking truthfully, and she ground her teeth, saying, "Madman."
"Never provoke a madman." Leon grinned widely, revealing his menacing sharp teeth.
"Fine, today you win." The Ocean Goddess suddenly said, facing a crazy opponent. She too learned to be calm. Until she found a way to deal with the Red Dragon, further entanglement wasn’t advisable, and wasting so much Divine Power here was not worthwhile.
Leon at that moment heard a familiar dinging sound.
"God Slayer—Royal power lacks permanence, and so does divine power. Defeat a God."
"Advanced reward: Eight and Nine Xuan Gong."
The Ocean Goddess didn’t know Leon had just received another Golden Finger reward. She prepared to withdraw her Divine Power and leave the Material Plane, only to suddenly find the Red Dragon coldly staring at her, not with fear this time, but making her hair stand on end.
