Shortly after, Sheng Ning’an came out from the kitchen holding a plate of cut-up fruit and another plate with braised snacks, placing them in front of her, along with other snacks they had bought from the supermarket.

She then went to the balcony and drew the curtains.

So there they were, curling up at home, eating snacks and braised treats, watching a movie.

Time flew by.

After a while, Sheng Ning’an stretched her limbs and asked, "What time is it?"

Xu Weiran picked up his phone and glanced at it, "It’s almost eight!"

"It’s that late already?" It wasn’t even four o’clock when they came back, "I have to get back to the dorms." Sheng Ning’an said as she got up from the sofa.

Xu Weiran also stood up, turned on the lights in the room, pressed pause on the projector, and picking up the car keys from the table, he said to her, "Let’s go, I’ll drive you!"

Sheng Ning’an did not refuse.
