The hot water washed over her skin, washing away the fatigue from her body and making her feel much more comfortable.

Since she planned to go out with Sheng Chuyi, she only soaked for a while before getting up.

It was only when she stood up that she realized she had forgotten to bring a change of clothes when she entered.

Shen Zhaozhao pushed the door open and looked out, seeing Sheng Chuyi was not in the room, she had no choice but to wrap a towel around her body and step out.

Just as she was about to grab her clothes to change, she saw Sheng Chuyi come in with his hair half-dry, seemingly just having showered in the guest bathroom. On seeing Shen Zhaozhao, he waved at her and said, "Come here."

Shen Zhaozhao did as he said and walked over.

Sheng Chuyi picked up a hairdryer to help her dry her hair, his slender fingers threading through her hair strands, gently touching her scalp, sending a shiver from the top of her head down to her soles, a tingling yet soothing sensation.

Shen Zhaozhao’s delicate toes involuntarily curled up, the warm air blowing on her bare shoulders, ticklish and very comfortable.

Shen Zhaozhao simply closed her eyes, with the buzzing sound of the hairdryer by her ear, almost hypnotizing her into a drowsy state.

She didn’t know how much time had passed when the sound of the hairdryer finally stopped, and Sheng Chuyi’s voice echoed near her ear, "Done!"

Only then did Shen Zhaozhao abruptly snap back to attentiveness, she stood up, intending to go change her clothes, but unexpectedly tripped over a chair leg and almost fell. Fortunately, Sheng Chuyi quickly steadied her, saying, "Be careful!"

"It certainly is your fault!" Shen Zhaozhao huffed, her tone carrying a hint of playful reproach.

After changing into her clothes, the two of them left the apartment.

Sheng Chuyi went to start the car and, once Shen Zhaozhao was in, he drove out of the neighborhood.

"Where are we going?" Shen Zhaozhao asked curiously on the way.

But Sheng Chuyi wasn’t willing to disclose anything, "You’ll find out when we get there."

Half an hour later, the car stopped in front of an office building.

Shen Zhaozhao looked at the unfamiliar building and said, "Why have you brought me here? You’re not planning to move the company here, are you?"

"You guessed right, this is Zhao Yi’s new office building. Come on, I’ll take you up to see it."

This building had a total of 38 floors, of which the 36th, 37th, and 38th floors were leased by Sheng Chuyi.

The 36th floor was dedicated to employees, where most of Zhao Yi’s staff would work in the future, while the 37th floor housed the management, and Sheng Chuyi’s office was on this floor.

"What about the 38th floor?"

Sheng Chuyi said, "That’s Zhao Yi’s research and development center."

"Zhao Yi has a research and development center?" She was unaware of this.

And isn’t Zhao Yi a technology company? What is the research and development center for?

"Just go inside and see for yourself, there’s a surprise waiting for you in there, let’s go!" Sheng Chuyi then led her in the elevator to the 38th floor.

Stepping out of the elevator, Shen Zhaozhao noticed that the 38th floor was completely finished, with signs of activity. From the entrance onward, everything was high-tech, requiring pupil recognition for entry.

Once inside, a robot approached them. After scanning them with its eyes, it moved towards Shen Zhaozhao and said, "Master, hello. Master, are you here to take 001 home?"
