Shen Zhaozhao’s heart raced, her hand holding the access card hesitated for a moment, but in the end, she placed it against the door lock. She heard the sound of the lock cylinder turning, followed instantly by two beeps, signaling the door had unlocked.

Shen Zhaozhao’s eyes widened in awe as she pushed open the door in front of her, brimming with both nerves and excitement.

The apartment was spacious, at least 180 square meters at first glance, with decor in the colors she liked. Moreover, it seemed to be newly renovated, as all the furniture was brand new.
