Chapter 951: Chapter 951 Can’t Hold It Anymore

Cheng Yue had also drunk quite a bit, and upon standing up, he swayed unsteadily, with everything before his eyes appearing particularly blurry.

The night was getting late, and he too bid farewell.

An Hao and Yan Huan had already left, leaving only him and Li Zhi. They certainly couldn’t stay overnight at Teacher Yan’s house, could they?

Therefore, Cheng Yue said, "Uncle, Aunt, Teacher Yan, it’s getting late, Li Zhi and I should head back as well. Thanks for your generous hospitality."

"Alright then," Yan Luquan seemed somewhat reluctant to end the evening, "that’s it for today, but do come over more often when you have time. I think you play chess quite well. We’ll have to play a few more games when there’s a chance."

"Thanks for the compliment, Uncle. I’ll definitely come if there’s a chance."

Yan Luquan called his security guard and instructed him to take Li Zhi and Cheng Yue back to school.

Just before leaving, Yan Huan came down from upstairs.

"I’ll see them out. These two have drunk too much; it’s better for them to walk a bit and sober up before getting in a car. Have the security guard wait at the military district’s gate, and I’ll walk them out," she said.

"You’re really something today," Feng Yuzhi was incredibly surprised.

"Don’t think too much of it," Yan Huan glanced at Feng Yuzhi and said, "I ran into some ruffians on the street the other day; it was Cheng Yue who saved me."

"So, it was him. Hurry then, off you go," Feng Yuzhi said, pushing Yan Huan out the door, "Go and give a proper thanks."

The early autumn moon hung high in the blue sky, filtering through the tips of the plane trees, casting a faint silvery glow over the world below.

Cheng Yue, supporting Li Zhi, staggered down the path with one deep step followed by a shallow one.

From time to time, a warrior passed by and, seeing their state, offered to help Yan Huan.

Yan Huan declined.

The three of them walked on in silence.

The road was quiet and undisturbed, occasionally pierced by the chirping of small insects.

The cool autumn breeze swept across Cheng Yue’s face, taking away his body heat and bringing him much soberness.

"Doesn’t drinking so much make you feel uncomfortable?" Yan Huan was the first to break the silence.

"Not uncomfortable," Cheng Yue replied, "it’s just that the ground seems a bit unsteady!"

Everything else was fine, up to the present, his thoughts logical and his speech clear.

"That’s good," said Yan Huan.

"Not good, not good!" Li Zhi, who had been rather out of it, suddenly opened his eyes, "What if I feel really uncomfortable?"

"What’s the matter with you?" Cheng Yue smacked him on the head, "Go back to sleep, stop talking nonsense. I’ve been dragging you along, if you’re not comfortable, do you think I’m enjoying this?"

"I need to pee!" Li Zhi said, clutching his crotch, "I can’t hold it in any longer! I urgently need to release the floodgates!"

"Hold it a bit longer. There’s a restroom five hundred meters ahead, turn right. We can talk then," Yan Huan quickly said.

"Can’t do, can’t hold it. If I hold it any longer, I’ll burst," he mumbled as he began fumbling with his belt.

"Look at you! After three cups of wine, you’ve forgotten who you are," Cheng Yue kicked Li Zhi aside, "Go find somewhere with no people."

So Li Zhi let go of Cheng Yue and staggered towards a small path to the right.

There, several lines of neatly arranged pine trees offered a convenient spot for relief.

When Li Zhi left, only Yan Huan and Cheng Yue remained in place.

Perhaps because of the nighttime, or perhaps because Cheng Yue had drunk too much, in any case, he found Yan Huan under the moonlight extraordinarily beautiful.
