"What, she’s here?" Cuihua was startled.

She was terrified that Gu Shuangshuang would steal Tian Niu’s heart, given that they were only unofficially married in the village and hadn’t yet registered their marriage.

Legally, their marriage wasn’t recognized.

"Quick, find someone to stop her," Cuihua had barely finished speaking.

Gu Shuangshuang stepped over the threshold into the bridal room, "Tian Niu, come out!"

Tian Niu forced a smile, but the moment he saw Gu Shuangshuang, he stood still as if struck by lightning.

The smile on his face froze, too sudden even to fade away.
