He sat up, his hair a scrambled mess, and the warriors burst into laughter upon seeing him.

"What’s so funny? Who’s laughing at me?" Tian Niu shouted angrily with a stern face.

Immediately, everyone shut up and resumed running in unison.

After running a couple of laps, Tian Niu came back and stood in front of Li Zhi.

He bent down and saw his face and body were covered with a dense array of mosquito bites.

"Why didn’t you sleep inside?" Tian Niu sat down and asked.

"With a room full of fighters, could I get any sleep?" Li Zhi glared at Tian Niu, irritated.

"Why didn’t you light a mosquito coil?"

"Go ask your soldiers!"

"What? Did they give you a hard time?"

"Your well-trained subordinates are devoted only to you!" Li Zhi lay down with his hands behind his head, looking up at the sky, and said, "I know you all can’t wait for me to leave, rest assured, I’ll go first thing tomorrow. Today, lend me Gu Shuangshuang for the day."

"For what?"

"I’m having her show me the way to town, I want to visit a sister!" Li Zhi said earnestly.

"Sure, no problem. I’ll have someone take you guys! Just make sure to take good care of Shuangshuang," Tian Niu agreed.

"Alright," Li Zhi nodded and after a moment of silence, he suddenly looked up at Tian Niu and said, "He loves you so much, he’s willing to break with his own mother for you! You have to love her well too, and never ever break her heart!"
