Chapter 820: Chapter 820: A Desperate Dog Jumps Over the Wall.

If An Hao wasn’t mistaken, this woman must definitely be Xin Ni.

The "sister-in-law" she mentioned had to be Sister Guifang.

It turned out she had unwittingly stumbled upon the scene where Xin Ni was pulling Li Zecheng to Sister Guifang to complain.

Xin Ni did not seem like any good at all, living off others without contributing, and even badmouthing them behind their backs—she was the epitome of moral decay.

Such a person was better approached less frequently by her.

Since Sister Guifang didn’t want her to know, An Hao would simply pretend she was unaware.

After all, Sister Guifang knew this woman’s face clearly.

Just as An Hao turned to leave, she heard the woman continue with her act, "Cousin, Sister-in-law even said I’m lingering here because I want to seduce you. Can you listen to what she says? You are my cousin! Your father is my uncle! How could I possibly have such thoughts about you?"

"Sister-in-law is becoming more and more unreasonable. She picked up everything from Feng Chunhua’s playbook. Last year, it was Feng Chunhua making irrational trouble, and now look, it’s her turn!" Li Zecheng stood up angrily, "Stop crying, I’ll go have a word with your sister-in-law."

"No! If you go, she’ll definitely know I told you. She will surely scold me again," Xin Ni cried.

"She dares! I still have the final say in this house." Having said that, Li Zecheng strode off in another direction.

Xin Ni also dusted off the dirt from her pants and stood up from the stone bench, "Thinking of driving me away? No way."

Having finished her complaint, she was in a great mood, humming a tune as she headed this way.

Upon seeing a dark shadow standing here, she was startled, "My goodness! There’s a ghost standing here!"

"You’re right in saying so! Indeed, there is a ghost standing right here," An Hao spoke, her voice carrying a chill, "A ghost stirring up trouble! Sowing discord between a husband and wife, engaging in such disgraceful acts; doesn’t your conscience hurt at all?"

In the dim moonlight, Xin Ni could barely make out An Hao, the woman who had caused her to hurt her leg a few days ago.

"What does it matter to you whether my conscience hurts? Mind your own business! You’re really asking for it—utterly insane!" Xin Ni rebuked angrily, then walked towards An Hao.

"Being insane is still better than being shameless!" An Hao retorted.

"Who are you calling shameless?"

"You are shameless. Could a person with any shame do such a despicable thing?"

Xin Ni had been here for quite some time, always pretending so well, and both times she encountered An Hao, her true nature was exposed, which made her furious. Remembering she had not taken revenge for her injury, she gritted her teeth and charged toward An Hao.

Raising her hand, she aimed a slap at An Hao, "Let me tell you, watch your mouth! Or I won’t let you off!"

"Heh, are you like a cornered dog jumping over the wall?" An Hao sneered, caught the hand that came towards her, and with a twist and a kick to Xin Ni’s knee, she then released her grip.

Xin Ni stumbled, and her leg went weak, making her fall onto the pebbled path with a cry.

The scab on her knee had just formed, but now it was broken open again, and she felt an agonizing pain. When she wiped it with her hand, she saw blood.

When had Xin Ni ever suffered such indignity?

Even at home, Zhang Guifang detested her so much that she itched to skin her alive, but she couldn’t do anything to her because of her tricks. Yet it was this unknown girl who had managed to handle her!

She couldn’t swallow this grievance, "You!! You malicious woman! I’ll fight you to the end!"
