A faint blush spread across An Hao’s cheeks, "Cheng Teacher, you’re joking."

Cheng Yu’s gaze fell upon her peach blossom-like radiant face, her smile involuntarily stiffening, "Youth is truly wonderful. If I could be a few years younger, to have a love like yours would be so good."

"Yan Teacher is not bad. You could consider it," An Hao felt the two of them were a perfect match.

Cheng Yu laughed and waved her hand, "That’s something left to fate."

"That’s true," An Hao laughed along.

"An Hao, do you have anything to do right now? Why not accompany me for a walk?" Cheng Yu invited An Hao.

An Hao glanced at her watch, "Okay. I can join you for ten minutes. Because tonight I must return to the military district compound."

"Alright," Cheng Yu agreed, ten minutes would suffice.

An Hao walked with Cheng Yu on campus, and as they chatted leisurely, they brought up the findings from An Hao’s recent autopsy.

"You did an amazing job this time! Truly worthy of being Yan Ye’s student! Keep striving, and I estimate that with another year of internship, you might graduate early," Cheng Yu said.

"That’s what I was thinking as well," An Hao agreed.

"Where do you plan to go after graduation?"

"I haven’t decided yet."

"Then... do you have any plans for this vacation?" Cheng Yu asked An Hao in a seemingly casual manner.

"To visit relatives."

As Cheng Yu expected, An Hao was going to the troop.

It was only natural. A young married couple, often apart, would certainly use the holiday to be together.

After exchanging a few more pleasantries, An Hao noticed it was getting late and bid Cheng Yu farewell to go home.

Cheng Yu walked a few laps around the sports field by herself before heading upstairs alone. However, she only went home to pick up a few things before knocking on Yan Ye’s door.

Yan Ye had just finished showering and put on his pajamas when he heard the knock at the door and went to open it.

Seeing Cheng Yu at the door, he smiled faintly, "Cheng Teacher, what a rare visitor. Please come in."

After Cheng Yu entered, she glanced around the tidy space, "Yan Teacher’s place is very clean."

"I don’t like disorder. I prefer an organized life," Yan Ye said as he got up to pour water.

"I brought coffee over. I want to have a cup of coffee with you while discussing something," she said.

"Sure, you’re welcome!"

Yan Ye made two cups of coffee and placed them on the coffee table, sitting opposite Cheng Yu he asked, "Cheng Teacher, what do you want to discuss with me?"

"It’s like this," after clearing her throat, Cheng Yu began, "I’ve heard from other staff at the school that during the holidays, Yan Teacher leads a medical team to remote and impoverished areas to provide free medical services to the locals?"

"That’s right. What about it? Do you have some thoughts, Cheng Teacher?" Yan Ye inquired.

After sipping the aromatic coffee, Cheng Yu spoke, "I wanted to know if you were planning to go again this summer vacation? I’d like to join your team."

"Of course, you can. I wholeheartedly agree," Yan Ye hoped his team would grow stronger; the more people, the better.

"That’s wonderful," Cheng Yu’s happiness showed, a rare display, "Then, how about we head to the Northwest this summer? That area is quite impoverished, especially Yuchuan City."
