Hand in hand, the two returned home.

Both of them had already eaten dinner. After returning home, An Hao started to prepare the medicine, the strong medicinal smell making her head throb and stomach churn.

She needed to seize the time to study. During these half a month in the lab, she realized how much more she needed to learn. She had to learn as much as she could quickly, to graduate sooner.

She had already decided.

When the time came, wherever Qin Jian went, she would follow; they would never be apart again.

Brewing the medicine took a whole hour. To ensure the full potency was extracted, Qin Jian deliberately boiled it a bit longer.

If An Hao’s cold uterus could be cured sooner, she would be able to conceive earlier, Qin Jian would become a father sooner, and she would have to drink less medicine.

Qin Jian brought the brewed medicine to the table to cool down, then fetched a cup of water and two pieces of preserved fruit.
