An Hao went to the kitchen to cook. The vegetables at home had been delivered to her by someone from An Ping, who supplied them to the school canteen.

"But this is just too awful to eat."

"Too awful? Don’t I eat the same? It’s these dishes—if you don’t like it, don’t eat it. But once you leave this door, don’t you dare say I didn’t cook for you! This is my level of skill, what do you suggest we do?"

Song Yueqin knew full well that An Hao was not of this level; doing so was simply a ploy to shut them up.

"Let’s just make do and eat a little," Song Yueqin signaled Qin Fen with her eyes.

For now, they just had to make do, and when Qin Jian came back, things would be very different.

An Hao might be able to pull off such tricks on them, but surely not on Qin Jian, right?
