"Exactly!" Ning Yibin exclaimed in anger after reading the ’challenge’ ― every word and phrase brimming with provocation towards his son and desire for his daughter-in-law.

A half-hour-long communication ensued!

After hanging up, Ning Yibin shook his head and dryly smiled, "Zhang Yun, do you know who that kid is?"

"How would I know?" After saying this, Zhang Yun paused and then asked, "You make it sound like this boy has a background?"

"Do you remember Cheng Nanfang?" Ning Yibin inquired.

"That name sounds familiar!" But for the moment, she couldn’t recall where she had heard it before.

"Have you forgotten? After you gave birth to Qin Jian and returned to the city, he and his newlywed wife came to visit you."

With Ning Yibin’s reminder, Zhang Yun faintly remembered such an incident, "Cheng Nanfang and you are war comrades!"

"Right. He had just gotten married when we had Qin Jian. Originally, we were in the same regiment, but due to reorganization, he transferred to the Nanji Military Region.
