"Take me?"

Shen Zhihua nodded and pointed gently to the foot she was barely resting on the ground, "Isn’t your foot injured?"

Yesterday, he had learned all about An Hao’s family situation.

"Yeah. That’s right," An Hao smiled, "Thank you, class monitor; you’re very thoughtful. But, did you borrow this bicycle just for this?"

An Hao knew Shen Zhihua liked her, so the moment she saw the bicycle, she worried that he might have gone out overnight to borrow it.

"No. My dad bought it for me to ride to school," he said.

A few days ago, his uncle had repaid all the borrowed money, plus some extra interest.

Seeing him travel so far to school every day, enduring the wind and rain, sleeping late and getting up early, his father found it too hard on him and used the money to buy a bicycle.

If his son could get into a university, the money spent would be worth it.

"Oh," An Hao nodded softly. Shen Zhihua’s appearance was truly a blessing in disguise at that moment.
