Yang Erdan then went to Qin Fen’s house to find Song Yueqin, striding boldly to the door.

Upon arriving, he called out at the doorway: "Uncle, Auntie, are you there?"

Hearing this, Song Yueqin, who had been lying lazily on the warm kang and not intending to get up, hurried into her clothes and opened the door to look outside, only to find it really was Yang Erdan!

She leaned against the doorframe, smiling lazily, "You’ve got some nerve, daring to enter like this."

"I’ve got some business with Uncle and Auntie," Yang Erdan said earnestly.

"Your uncle accompanied your auntie to the town’s market! It’s the last market session before the New Year, so they had to buy some things," Song Yueqin said with a smile, "What? Do you still need to see your Qin Erdan?"

"No need," Yang Erdan then revealed his true intentions, "I came to see sister-in-law."

"What do you want with me?" Song Yueqin smirked, her face brimming with frivolity.

"Haven’t seen sister-in-law for a few days! Worried no one’s been watering you, afraid your fertile fields have dried up." Yang Erdan laughed lewdly.

"Alright!" Song Yueqin gestured him over with a crooked finger, "You’d better put in some effort!"

"Yang Erdan’s got nothing else but strength to spare!" Yang Erdan declared, and with that, he rushed forward and hugged Song Yueqin tightly, "You must have missed me terribly!"

"You impudent ghost! You’ve got some nerve running to my house!" Song Yueqin said, while she began to tear at Yang Erdan’s clothes.
