Chapter 1028: Chapter 1028: Sabotaging His Business

"This is a great opportunity! Let’s go demand the money now while he’s doing business." With customers around, he’s less likely to try and wiggle out of paying.

"No! He said that if we screw up his deal, we won’t get our money." Jin Shan was terrified that the other party wouldn’t pay; he was frantic.

"Uncle Jin Shan! Don’t let him spew nonsense! Even if he closes this deal, he won’t pay up! He owes my family five thousand, even more than you! We’re just as anxious as you are, not a bit less. This is the only way; such chances are hard to come by if missed," An Hao finished speaking and then kicked the door open with a bang.

Wang Papi, who was in the middle of a business deal, jumped in fright. When he saw An Hao followed by the same debt collectors, his face instantly darkened, "Didn’t I tell you? I’m conducting business here. Don’t you understand?"

"Stop your business talk!" An Hao stepped forward and slapped all the account books in front of the person discussing the deal with Wang Papi, "These are the debts he owes us! Take a look and see how difficult it is for us to collect our debts. If you’re dealing with him, be careful he doesn’t dupe you too!"

"Oh? Is that so?" The man began to flip through the account books, but Wang Papi quickly covered them with his hands and said with a smile, "No, no! That’s not true! I never said I wouldn’t pay them! You, sir, are our valued customer! That’s why I had them wait outside for a while."

"Is that right?" An Hao asked, curling his lips, "I just got here, so I don’t know about that!"

Wang Papi hurriedly replied, "It’s true, it’s true! Go to the accountant to get your money! I’ve already let them know."

"Wouldn’t it have been easier if Boss Wang had said so earlier?" An Hao smiled and said to everyone, "Let’s go then! What are we waiting for?"

"Exactly. Let’s all go! Haven’t I said I would pay you? Look how impatient you all are, disturbing my important client," Wang Papi took the opportunity to add.

As long as the money could be retrieved, nobody cared what he said or didn’t say.

An Hao and a few other farmers rushed to the finance office.

After stating their purpose, the accountant stood up with a smile and brewed a cup of tea for each of them, "Don’t rush! Wait a moment. The cashier has gone to withdraw the money; it’ll take a little while to arrive. As soon as it does, you’ll be paid immediately."

Upon hearing this from the accountant, everyone felt at ease.

So, several people sat together, drinking tea and sharing experiences about farming.

Considering that Wang Papi was an old slick, he was surely cunning and slippery.

An Hao had to be cautious.

What if the guy lied? Then they would have made a wasted trip.

So, he quietly said to An Ping, "Go have a look. See if that guy has left."

As soon as An Hao said this, An Ping instantly understood what he meant.

He snuck out of the meeting room and tiptoed to the manager’s office door.

The door was slightly ajar.

The client inside had already left, and only Wang Papi was there.

He also stood up, putting on his coat, apparently planning to slip away.

"Son of a bitch!" An Ping cursed under his breath, then ran toward the finance office.

Upon entering, he saw the accountant still smiling slyly.

"Wang Papi is trying to bolt! Let’s go catch him now!" An Ping bellowed.

All of them, not bothering with their tea, scurried toward the manager’s office door to intercept him.

And sure enough, they caught him in the act.
