Chapter 425: Chapter 224 Thunderstorms Interwoven, Spiral Pearls Perceive the Wind

Fran swiftly collected all the magical plants in the entire valley and then turned towards the underground oak tree.

Although he hadn’t interacted with the magical beasts, he could still tell that the number of magical beasts in his valley didn’t seem to diminish.

"So many tribes have come in? Most of the Undead Tribe is over at the Dwarf Kingdom now, right? Are there still people coming?"

"The magical beasts come and go as they please.

I think they’ve sent all the old and young ones here to be raised.

Especially those herbivorous magical beasts.

It’s almost like they’re moving into the valley to find work for the safe upbringing of their offspring.

Fortunately, the number of the Undead Tribe has always been stable.

The few families that have recently sent in newcomers seem to be all fresh faces, probably not yet qualified to go to the Dwarf Kingdom, and their main target is rabbits.

The other magical beasts, they all have clear targets, apart from priests and mages who may choose at random; knights and swordsmen have fixed targets and would rather come back later if not successful.

However, the priests of the Black Rose clan seem to really like wolverines, and word of this has already spread; recently, many wolverines have come since they seem to think the priests would like them. It’s very peculiar, they are very eager to give it a try.

As for honey badgers, swordsmen from every clan are competing for them; it looks like the Black Rose Family couldn’t keep it a secret.

The Scattered Ones have consistently been doing circuit tasks, and recently there’s been an increase in their numbers. Their choices of magical beasts are quite whimsical; I can’t find any pattern."

Fran nodded, "As long as things go smoothly, let them be!"

As soon as Fran entered the Magic Tower, he smiled wryly.

The effects of the power of the sun god seemed to be not only for driving away evil.

He always forgets, the power of the sun is very beneficial for the growth of plants.

Including the oak tree which is a fragment of a Divine Artifact.

The Magic Tower was filled with a pure natural scent, and only by paying close attention could one feel the faint warmth of the power of the sun god.

People from the Evil Faction, I guess would be exposed directly the moment they walked in, or even burned to death.

Fran looked at the oak tree in front of him.

Its growth over tens of thousands of years was probably not as great as this short period since it was planted in Hill’s Magic Tower.

The oak tree had grown a full two rings thicker.

Fran walked in with a wry smile, having some idea why the Spiral Pearls had already reacted.

The Divine Artifact it resided in had leveled up, so of course, its inhabitants would receive certain benefits.

Fran stood at the entrance, looking around for a while.

He didn’t feel he’d been away for long, but now he felt a sense of worlds apart.

As he expected, the space inside the oak tree Divine Artifact had become bigger.

But the cleared land had already been filled with flowers and plants by the Wood Elemental Spirits.

Some had even evolved into magical plants.

Looking at the Wood Elemental Spirits fluttering all over the ground, Fran let out a sigh of relief.

They were splitting more and more, and the small light orbs were almost hanging over the entire forest.

With so many Wood Elemental Spirits, most likely the trees in the Artifact that were over ten thousand years old had become Treants.

Fran glanced a few times at them; their current target seemed to be the millennium trees.

Massive amounts of Wood Element light orbs were dancing around those shorter trees.

Fran noticed that the Wood Elemental Spirits within the Artifact had started to form groups.

Once Elemental Spirits have the protection of a lord, most without great ambitions prefer to increase their numbers, especially Wood Elements, who enjoy the company of more compatriots as long as there are enough Treants.

Of course, if a high-level Element feels that its power is sufficient and capable of becoming Legendary, it will take the small Elemental Spirits willing to follow and leave the group to establish their own family.

These usually have limits to their power and are sure to breakthrough sooner or later.

On the other hand, the Earth Elemental family outside hasn’t considered splitting at all.

After all, they started as followers of the Earth Elemental Chief.

Wood Elements and Water Elements are groups that were formed after arriving in the valley and are not as cohesive.

Fran stepped towards the lake water.

Fran slowly walked down, and the size of the great lake, which had nearly doubled, now also contained a sizable number of Water Elemental Sprites.

They were divided into two groups, but they seemed to have a good relationship.

After all, they were all guarding the outside of the Lake Goddess’s Water Temple.

Fran guessed that most of these Water Elementals have already figured out the identity of the Spiral Pearls and that’s why they guard this place incessantly.

Regardless of which Water Element Law the deities belong to, the Water Elementals present at her birth will understand this law directly.

Maybe they could directly advance to lord!

It wasn’t long before Fran understood why the Water Elementals had informed List that the reaction of the Spiral Pearls was substantial.

These Water Elementals were probably all here for that very reason.

Large snowflakes drifted down gently, blanketing the entire surface of the lake.

Fran lightly caught a snowflake, crystal clear like jade.

He felt the bone-chilling cold.

Yet, he also smelled a faint sea scent, the type of salty fragrance that arrives on the wind, which he could not possibly mistake.

It seems like this future Water Goddess has quite a high realm within the Water Element Laws!

Fran initially thought this was everything.

However, the Little Snail Beads below seemed to have sensed Fran’s presence.

Immediately in front of Fran, they showed off a bit.

Gentle snowflakes instantaneously transformed into a violent storm, accompanied by flashes of lightning and roars of thunder.

Hill quickly understood what the Spiral Pearls were showing him.

It was the endless winds above the sea.

Beneath the tempest, the lake roiled with turbulent waves, violently crashing against the shore, casting up high sprays of water.

The Spiral Pearls commanded the storm, causing it to wax and wane, displaying to Hill her comprehension of the Wind Element Laws.

No matter how much Hill tried to distance himself, the Little Water God was still directly connected to him.

This was the first deity to grasp a portion of the Wind Element Laws, albeit only the winds over water.

Though her wind inevitably came with rain.

Hill could almost hear the Little Water God’s joyful laughter within the Spiral Pearls.

Compared to her uncle in the starry sky and her late parents, the Little Water God was more willing to be Hill’s child.

Even though she was born a goddess and Hill was still just a legendary human.

But she still chose Hill.

Hill didn’t know if she was aware of something at birth, but the Little Water God didn’t seem to feel as deeply for her own parents.

The Little Water God was born divine, likely having consciousness from the embryonic stage.

When she was taken from the Lake Goddess’s body and cast into the ocean, something must have happened that made her feel her parents weren’t that important.

It wasn’t that she didn’t love them, otherwise she wouldn’t have chosen to reside at the palace of the Lake Goddess.

But it was just that little bit less, leading the Little Water God to prefer being the child of the Hill family.

Hill sighed and waved his hand downward, "If you are to be born, it can’t be here; you must go outside and face the Laws directly."

Soon, the Exquisite Sphere burst from the water and landed in Hill’s outstretched palm.

It seemed she wasn’t sure of the day, but it was definitely soon.

Hill scratched his head, thankful that he had returned.

Otherwise, List would surely only have notified him when the Little Water God was about to be born.

Taking the Spiral Pearls with him, Hill looked back helplessly at the Water Elemental Sprites trailing behind him with families in tow.

The Undead Tribe had grown accustomed to the rampant Water Elementals, and even if there were more, it didn’t really matter.

They had long since known that the Water Elementals resided in the Magic Tower.

Not all Water Elementals would come out at all times.

Let’s just assume that these Water Elementals are in good spirits lately, coming out to bask in the sun and moon.

The Spiral Pearls bounced a few times in Hill’s palm before finally choosing the fountain of the Lake Goddess and the White Wolf God as her dwelling.

"Where’s the little pack your uncle gave you? Still in the palace?"

The Exquisite Sphere rolled around in Hill’s palm, the dwelling he had prepared for her was already refined into her own possession.

Hill knew what the Spiral Pearls meant; she had already put the items inside the Exquisite Sphere.

It seems she had turned the Exquisite Sphere into her everyday Divine Artifact.

Storage was its basic function.

Though Divine Artifacts sounded prestigious, anything a deity created using their own Laws could be called a Divine Artifact.

For those offensive and defensive Divine Artifacts, even the most powerful deities couldn’t make many, especially for their own use.

But for everyday items, there were countless.

An item a deity uses for years might one day, after a few centuries, transform into what’s termed a Divine Artifact, due to natural Law.

Although all are called Divine Artifacts, if it weren’t for showing respect to deities, Alchemists would likely prefer to call these items Law Treasures.

Fran had mentioned this a few times; it’s probably how they refer to them privately.

Previously, Alchemists lacked the confidence to speak thus and had to let deities name all such creations as Divine Artifacts.

Hill quietly set up a Water Mist, and casually laid down an Illusory Realm Magic Array.

While the Undead Tribe couldn’t take it away, they probably wouldn’t enjoy being watched and discussed, and neither would the Spiral Pearls.

However, it would be beneficial at the time of her birth if there were many onlookers calling out her name.

Therefore, Hill wouldn’t prevent the Undead Tribe from continuing to appear in the valley.

Hill could only work harder, eventually setting up a nested array of Legendary Illusion Magic Arrays.

The Undead Tribe, curious to probe the boundaries of the Illusion Array, could only wander around the periphery; to penetrate its interior, they needed to understand the illusion nodes.

Hill once thought they would be interested in the true Magic Formations, but later realized that even the scholars were unwilling to waste time calculating nodes.

Perhaps Hill understood because he had undergone promotions time after time, strengthening his spiritual power to the point where even a glance was enough to memorize.

But the Undead, they only evolved their shell; the spirit within was still their original.

Though also quite powerful, or they couldn’t control these Elemental bodies.

At most, they had the spiritual power of an ordinary Mage.

To date, there had been no peculiar members of the Undead Tribe who sat down in academia to study Spells.

Hill wondered if there would ever be any.

But Hill remembered that in the kind of broken game he used to play, there were always people who took notes on everything the teacher said.

Sooner or later, it would happen; at the moment, world quests were just more important.

How William would handle this in the future, Hill had no idea.

But Hill remembered that the realm of the Undead was a pure World Without Magic, where even if someone learned, it would be unusable in reality.

The Alchemy Magic of this world couldn’t possibly be transferred for use in that world.

In a world without elemental reactions, nothing is possible.
