Chapter 210: Chapter 40 The Sensational Succubus
Hill suddenly remembered something and stood up to call out to the players who had come to watch the action below.
"Mr. Snow Cloud Peak, may I ask if the Great Wall on the western border of the Saral Tri-Nation has been connected?"
"Three days ago, it was completely repaired," Snow Cloud Peak quickly replied. "A lot of the new Undead Tribe have taken up the task of wall repair."
"Thank you very much," Hill heard some comments like, "They earn a lot of experience; while we fight to the death, they just build walls" and could only pretend he hadn’t heard them.
As long as the wall was repaired, the west would be safe.
As for the impossibility of a large number of demons running over from outside the Great Wall to Hill’s side, that simply couldn’t happen unless all the Magical Beasts in the Western Mountains were dead.
The Abyssal Gate, the kind opened by demons themselves, only appears in places rife with desire, fear, and sorrow.
If not for the betrayal of the Goddess of the Spring, it would be impossible for the territory of the Magical Beasts to have something like the Abyssal Gate.
Unless the demons occupied the entire continent, they wouldn’t go to the seas on the east.
The few Deep Sea Demigod sea monsters, knowing that the demons just intended to kill and plunder souls, dared to cooperate with the God of Nobility.
Luckily William’s ship had high defensive power; otherwise, if the ship were shattered and the crew dispersed, it might indeed have been possible for Miller’s Legend and his companions to lose their lives.
It was probably because of this ship that Fran didn’t stop Adrian from going to the Deep Sea.
But their purpose was just to create danger and draw William’s attention, wasn’t it?
Hill wondered what William had done that made the God of Nobility so sure he was on the ship to take direct action.
Hill thought for a moment, still somewhat uneasy.
"Please instruct those going to the two refugee camps to be cautious," Hill said, touching his forehead a bit nervously. "I don’t know their real intentions, and I’m a bit worried."
"Mr. Hill, don’t worry!" Rain Falling on Mortal Dust took over. "Our family’s lolita Female Mage has all gone there, swearing they’ll kill them the instant their names turn red."
"Try not to involve the innocent," Hill forced himself to say, then quietly sat back down.
If those Female Mages really just wanted an excuse to leave, they might have chosen the worst possible option.
"Earl?" Fran asked a question.
"If he really dares to get involved with those women, it would be normal for him to die," Hill said helplessly. "If after encountering Edgar’s situation he still doesn’t know to avoid people with unclear intentions, he’ll eventually be unlucky."
"Although Perast is greedy and stupid, he’s not to the point of seeking his own death," Fran declared with certainty. "And he definitely dislikes Female Mages."
Fran suddenly sneered coldly: "Unless she’s more beautiful than Melanie, and it’s not possible in that case."
Hill looked down and remained silent.
"Where are they going?" The Undead outside began to stir.
Hill hurriedly craned his neck to see: The demons on the screen had moved; they seemed to be gathering at a certain location.
"Are these demons obeying the same leader?" Fran also noticed. "They react too quickly, unlike those we saw previously in Undead territories."
"Aren’t only Legendary and below demons supposed to enter?" The Undead below discussed. "It seems there are higher-level beings present?"
"Quiet, I’m looking," Snow Cloud Peak said, studying the tablet.
"Grandfather," Hill indicated with his eyes, wondering if William was not locked in.
Fran nodded almost imperceptibly.
Is Adrian in danger then? Hill’s eyes widened.
Fran gently shook his head, and Hill felt somewhat relieved.
It’s good that Fran knows. Although Hill didn’t know exactly what was happening on the ship, Fran’s composure assured him that everything was fine.
Hill silently thought: The God of Time and Space wouldn’t have come down in person, would He?
He looked up as the light of the sun gradually dimmed, dusk approaching.
He wanted to know if the God of Nobility, who was clearly collaborating with demons after having exerted His divine power, could still remain stable in the Starry Sky?
Even if He was evil, He was still a deity of this world, and the world consciousness still acknowledged His existence.
But after cooperating with the demons, the enemies of the entire world, how would the world consciousness judge this God of Nobility?
Hill was really curious to know.
"No need to look anymore," Fran said coldly. "The cooperation between the God of Nobility and the demons has not yet reached the world’s threshold.
He merely added a divine power barrier around that group of people, which can also be seen as cooperating with the Deep Sea Demigod against a common enemy. It’s just a higher degree of evil, not enough to be denied by the world."
"How can that be?" Hill said, astonished. "Hasn’t He communicated with the demons?"
"So many people in the Noble Temple!" Fran showed a scornful sneer. "Just kill the one who speaks directly with the demons. The others are just relaying; when their degree of sin is high enough, kill them directly."
The cold ruthlessness implied in these words sent a chill through Hill.
"Why would the people in the Noble Temple agree?"
"Nobles have plenty of brainwashed slaves! They are simply expendable." Fran stated, "What do you think they went to see Charles and Ramsden for? Before they left, they also released their useless slaves."
"No one knows how many utterly brainwashed slaves there are inside."
