Chapter 194: Chapter 32 Hill’s Water Element Now Has Attack Spells
Natural Consciousness had completely failed to sense Hill’s confusion, simply rejoicing on its own.
Hill, however, was dazedly thinking, "This is a world of elements, not a realm ruled by the Five Elements!"
Why had he thought that the configuration of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth was normal?
Fran and the others saw no issue, but that was because they had always lived in this world!
Hill felt that his past self had been covered with a veil, completely devoid of any doubts.
It was not until today, with the formation of the Wind Element, that he had become closer to nature and more deeply accepted by the world consciousness, that he had reacted.
Natural Consciousness was incapable of lying, but it utterly failed to understand Hill’s queries.
If it could not speak, it would have plainly said so.
Hill sensed a secret in this world, deep to the point of obscurity.
Hill had always felt that the natural consciousness surrounding him reacted too directly, displaying an exceedingly immature behavioral pattern, though nature was naturally candid, it shouldn’t be so naïve.
The deities in the sky, even the newly emerged human gods, had been around for nearly 100,000 years, not to mention the longer-lived elves and dwarves.
Hill pursed his lips, comprehending that if even Natural Consciousness was unaware of the secret, he lacked the capacity to delve deeper.
He absentmindedly thought about the matters involving the God of Nobility and the Goddess of the Spring, topics he dared not consider himself, though the players had easily uncovered them.
They had nonchalantly delivered the stele to Hill, and it wasn’t until William retrieved the evidence and revealed the truth that those deities realized nothing at all.
The depth of the collusion between the world consciousness and the God of Time and Space was something Hill dared not contemplate.
He quickly dismissed all thoughts, deciding to refocus his attention on the Wind Runes, and to take another look at the newly engraved Water Spells in his Mental Sea.
After half a month of intensive study, Hill finally confirmed that this rune had formed with the assistance of the world consciousness.
If others learned it, they would find it difficult to imprint the entire halo around the rune, he had to deconstruct the rune into beginner, intermediate, and high-level stages to teach it to others.
He stood up, deciding to first study the Water Spells, Hill hadn’t planned to reveal the Wind Spells, so there was no need to consider spreading them so soon.
Before ascending to the Divine Throne, the God of Time and Space had hidden those two elements for tens of thousands of years.
Hill lacked such ability, but hiding them until they became legendary shouldn’t be a problem, right?
Hill walked quietly to the fountain, sat in front of a statue, planning to open a lucky box next to the enormous spiral pearl lodged above his head.
Even if it was Water Spells, he wanted something powerful!
Water Mist, Hill pursed his lips, this was a spell capable of releasing a large amount of water vapor, effective for disruption and defense. It could be paired with Tide Dance Moon Welcoming, set directly in the Forest Array to mitigate the harm Fire Element Spells could do to the array.
Blizzard, seeing this, Hill took a deep breath and gently touched the Exquisite Sphere, not bad, it was well nurtured.
Hill could directly summon a large amount of water vapor using Water Mist, then use this spell.
This was a spell even more powerful than Blizzard, with ice cones mixed with snowflakes covering the sky, significantly more damaging than mere snowflakes.
Hill looked forward to the last one, then quietly slumped: Water of Tranquility.
In gamers’ terms, it was a mana recovery ultimate move.
World Consciousness, this was granting Hill Blizzard as a reward, in exchange for Hill using Water of Tranquility to accelerate the revival of the spiral pearl?
Hill slowly stood up, looking at the erupting spring water, first releasing a Water Mist to feel it.
Then he cast Tide Dance Moon Welcoming.
The Water Mist indeed greatly enhanced the effects of this spell.
He alternated casting these two spells, and when he stopped, he silently reflected.
The sky full of water mist, with flashing points of moonlight, had nearly increased the effect by 20%.
Hill had long realized that if it was high moon, using Tide Dance Moon Welcoming would also increase the effect by 10%.
This he could understand, as the tides were always influenced by the moon.
Hill stood still, using his last magic power to release Tranquility of Water.
Droplets of water splashed, and as mist hit his face, Hill only felt invigorated, with a quarter of his mana restored.
But he could feel that this spell could probably only be used twice a day and needed a long interval in between.
He pondered, this must also be a Water System Divine Art.
Glancing again at the small shell emitting light quietly within the Exquisite Sphere, Hill turned back toward the Magic Tower.
Then, the long-awaited Water Elemental Chief stopped him, "Hill, what did you do? The water is encircling you."
"Ah, I did something for the World Consciousness, it’s a reward."
"That’s really good," the Water Elemental Leader smiled, "I can feel how happy the water is."
He pondered briefly but spoke earnestly, "So, could you summon me directly if you need anything in the future?"
"Ah?"
"I don’t want to end up unlucky like that Earth below, with the lord getting there first!"
"How could that be? Earth Element is different!"
"That was in the past! Although I can’t outweigh the Earth," the Water Elemental Chief bent over specially, "but do you think there is anyone else in this world who is so favored by water?"
Hill silently held his forehead: The Spring had run dry, and the Water System Divine Arts from that end were all going to disappear. Water Mages and himself were not the same at all.
"There are quite a few Water Sorcerers though!" he suddenly thought.
"Water Sorcerers," the Clan Leader shook his head, "they proliferate easily, you know? Reaching the Archmage level already shows determination."
