Chapter 191: Chapter 31: Envious Hill Achieves Great Things

The Undead Tribe worked fast and never felt tired. Even though Spencer felt it was taking an eternity, it was his turn before long.

The chef had already heard about him being in the queue and cheerfully asked, "Mr. Spencer, which types would you like?"

"Spicy pot! All of them! And the King’s portion, can you give me that together?" Spencer spoke decisively, he would definitely not give his portion to William.

The chef agreed just as promptly, and as the pot slowly filled up, Spencer was caught in a fierce internal struggle.

He was too embarrassed to eat in the crowd and almost teleported, steadily carrying the pot back to the Lord’s Mansion.

He looked in surprise at William, who was sitting in his room: "How did you get here?"

"When you mentioned the King’s portion, I knew I had to come over myself!" William said with displeasure written all over his face, "I wouldn’t trust you to bring it to me, you would definitely eat it yourself!"

"What about tonight?" Spencer put down the pot he was holding and sighed internally, he couldn’t just disappear now. "You can’t go out! Did you use Divine Arts to teleport here?"

"Ah! I have Divine Power in the church, I can teleport directly using that." William took out two bowls and said enthusiastically, "Let’s eat together!"

"You can’t go out tonight!" Spencer begrudgingly sat down, lifted his fork, and watched William skillfully handle those two sticks, "I know you’re not afraid of danger! But you should be at the southern border, preparing to resist the Demons!"

"Then you go out, buy several portions of everything, whatever it is!" William lifted his head, he had already polished off the three special meats in his portion and was eyeing Spencer’s bowl with envy.

"This is so delicious!" Spencer ate slowly, completely ignoring William’s longing gaze.

As dusk fell, and the moon rose, the celebration of the Undead Tribe officially began.

Standing at the highest point of the Lord’s Mansion, looking at the fireworks blossoming in the sky, and the shimmering lights below in the long food street, the two men were unaware of the resentment in the hearts of others.

After all, Spencer could go and buy anytime, and the two of them excitedly pointed this way and that, ready for a feast.

Meanwhile, Hill, who could only squat on the second floor of the church, yearningly staring at the big screen, was already cursing madly.

"Why does Spencer get to go buy?! And bring some for His Majesty the King? William is still far away in Cortez, right? Did he teleport just to send a bowl of soup?"

He turned to look at List with longing eyes: "Can I go and buy some?"

"I can make ordinary seafood products, sir," List calmly refused him.

"But it’s the chef! Didn’t you hear? From the chefs’ school in University Town! It must be a High-Level school! The chef from there!" Hill was getting excited.

"Unfortunately, the ingredients they’ll be cooking are all legendary," List dashed Hill’s last hope, "If you go, you’ll only get to smell the aroma, and there won’t be much you can actually eat."

Hill understood what List meant, knowing going there would only make him crave more.

"Go back! Stop looking, I’ll pay attention tonight to their cooking techniques, and when we get seafood, I’ll cook for you every day!"

"How will you watch?" Hill turned to the commentator who had already blended into the celebrating crowd, flying in the air, chasing the fireworks.

"Old Cat left with the territory tablet," List said quietly, "I can contact him through that."

"That thing can be taken out of the territory?"

"If you return within three days, it’s possible."

"Then I’m relying on you, List," Hill took one last look at the screen, turned resolutely, "I’m going back. Looking further will only make it harder!"

List sent Hill back with a smile, carefully distracting him. He had just noticed that Adrian, who had been watching for a long time, had already shot into the sky, heading east.

List instructed the players not to bring food back to the territory, implying not to eat sentient creatures in public places within the territory, as it would be a provocation to nature enthusiasts and could certainly result in loss of prestige.

But their homes belonged to them; the territory had no say over those.

The Undead Tribe weren’t fools, they understood.

If it was that serious, List would simply prohibit them from eating there.

But List was certain that Adrian and Fran, who were mindful, would definitely not bring food back to eat.

Adrian would certainly send it back to their own Magic Tower, which was no issue at all.

However, it was better that Hill didn’t know about this, even Spencer was so jealous he had started calling for William.

List was seeing Hill this excited for the first time, and it was all for food he couldn’t eat.

He, uncharacteristically not wanting to be in the Magic Tower, took the initiative to contact Old Cat.

"What’s up?" Xiao Chenhuan held a large bowl to her chest, struggling to move through the crowd, "At times like this, I think the Lolita model isn’t fun, always feeling like I’ll be stepped on.

Can’t the spatiotemporal settings be less realistic for once? I don’t mind clipping through things here!"

"Wishful thinking!" Yue Xiaoluo retorted, "Add another mode? Who’s going to pay for that?"

"List asks me to record the chefs’ cooking techniques," Old Cat chuckled, "He’s very eager to learn."

"Has Hill seen the big screen?" Xiao Chenhuan realized, "He wants to eat but can’t?"

"Nature lovers can’t eat sentient beings, right?" Yue Xiaoluo asked with a smile.
