Chapter 122: Chapter 1 Cortez, Haifasardo and the Saral United Kingdom were established as _3
"You don’t know?" Hill looked at Hensley with suspicion, who was observing from the other side, "Mr. Hensley didn’t say anything?"
"Hensley indeed knows." Phillips said candidly to Hill, "We don’t get along, so he wouldn’t tell me.
I’m more curious, was it Hensley who brought this good news to His Majesty the King?"
"It was I who brought it back." Hill confirmed his guess, "During this period, I was the only one who went to the south, right?
I informed my maternal grandfather and Adrian, and sent the people to Spencer’s city in the southeast.
There’s nothing else I can say."
Hill felt Hensley’s gaze from afar and returned him a gentle smile.
"That’s enough." Phillips said with a smile, "Thank you very much."
He turned and flew away, with Miss Carl floating there waiting for him.
William waited for 30 minutes in good order, but no one from the Haifa Royal Family showed up.
Kinderich bent down and took the crown off the utterly despondent former King’s head, and handed it to William.
William couldn’t help frowning as he held the crown over his head, and a Priest appeared just in time: casting a Purification Technique over the crown.
Only then did William confidently place the crown on his head, "From now on, I shall be the King of both Haifasardo and the Saral United Kingdom!"
"What sort of name is that?" the players wailed.
It’s just like Britain, isn’t it? With a bunch of prefixes, but in the end, when mentioned, only Saral remains.
"Anyway, when it comes down to it, it’s still Saral.
Who would say the full name, huh!"
"Oh, oh, oh!" someone exclaimed with heartfelt admiration, "William is still as cunning as ever!"
William’s Airship slowly descended into the Royal Palace: the Capital was basically a ghost town, with everyone else long gone apart from the foolish King.
The Airship stopped at the square in front of the Royal Palace, where Knights guarding the Palace of Haifasardo were already lined up in formation.
A few scattered high-ranking officials and nobles stood at the forefront.
The attendants of the palace stood on the outside.
No commoners came out to watch.
"So, in this kingdom, is this all that remains of the high-ranking individuals of the Neutral Lawful Faction?" a player murmured, "That means the newcomers must have many tasks to do."
"There might be more, but fearing entanglement, they would have run off early."
William stood at the very front of the queue and looked around.
People from the big ship began walking down in rows.
William brought his Royal Guard.
Mages on the inside, Knights on the outside, all standing quietly behind him.
The Saral Kingdom’s banner and national flag fluttered in the wind, held by the Knights.
William strode forward, and as he passed, the people of Haifa knelt on one knee, bowing their heads in submission. They stood up again after William had walked past slowly.
Only then did the Royal Guard solemnly follow behind William, setting off.
The line rippled like waves, extending all the way to the doors of the King’s Palace.
Two individuals, clearly members of the Royal Family of Haifasardo, opened the grand doors and knelt on one knee, "Please, Your Majesty the King, ascend the throne."
William smiled and walked in without hesitation.
The players watched with bated breath up to this point, many releasing a sigh of relief together.
"Could there be an ambush inside? How can William just walk in like that!"
"Not to mention William’s own strength, he is the man with two Divine Artifacts at hand!"
"Who’s recording this? Why don’t they follow inside?"
"Go ask customer service!"
"Shut up! It’s 10 o’clock!"
Suddenly, William’s voice sounded faintly, "From now on, the Undead Tribe is permitted to freely enter our world.
Until the quota of 20 million is reached."
"Again, 20 million? Wasn’t it supposed to be without limit?"
"Apparently, it’s feared that too many at once might overwhelm the server, the next time will be open access."
"What do you mean ’apparently’? What’s the official reason?"
"There aren’t enough tasks in Haifasardo for so many people, half are reserved for Cortez."
"Since when was William planning to take over Cortez again? What’s the reason? Isn’t his faction not supposed to wage war at will?"
"You lot that don’t follow the storyline! William’s succession as King of Haifasardo allows him to contest the Crown of Cortez.
The first King of Haifa was actually the legitimate heir of Cortez back then, switched at birth by his own King father for an illegitimate child.
Later, his mother, the Queen, found out the truth, but by then the family’s power had been nearly exhausted.
She could only gather evidence, sending her son out of the country.
Just look at how far away Haifasardo is from Cortez, and how deliberately they picked a location that is easy to defend but hard to attack.
The current Cortez lineage descends from that illegitimate child. Illegitimate children have no inheritance rights in this world.
The Haifa Royal Family kept the evidence, just waiting for a day when a powerful king would rise to reclaim the throne.
But aside from the first generation, the rest were fools.
The evidence somehow ended up in the hands of William.
Now he is the legitimate heir,"
"Why do the Haifa Royal Family need to keep it so secret?"
"Are you dumb? If he’s not capable of claiming the throne, other members of the Cortez Royal Family could! Illegitimate children have no rights to succession, but Royal Family members do.
What if a different line ascends the throne?
There are deities watching; you cannot just start a war at will."
"The deities in this game are like our antimatter cannon, with the barrel aimed, no one dares to move."
"So after all their hiding, it ended up benefiting William?" someone questioned profoundly, "Did they just directly hand it over to William?"
Hill felt a bit concerned: with so many questions from the players, William wouldn’t still be using himself as an instance, would he?
He really had a bad feeling about this.
The screen gradually disappeared as William cut off the live broadcast signal.
