Chapter 120: Cencorship (1)

Knowing about the system was one thing, but what if Lucian also had a system?

Medeia asked the system, ’Does anyone else in this world have a system like mine?’

[The information is classified. The system can’t provide the answer for your question.]

Aha, Medeia knew it!

She didn’t need the system to answer her question blatantly because with that ambiguous answer alone, Medeia could guess there were indeed people who also had systems in this world.

But, was Lucian one of them?

The system had failed to detect his ability when they first met and he had a combination of two strong abilities that were rarely possessed by others.

His mana also seemed to never run out, even though he didn’t have super healing ability like Naomi.

After Medeia thought about it further, she realized he was truly one of the rare cases.

"Lucian, are you...?"

Medeia stopped midway, unsure about her own question.

If he had the system, then what kind of system would it be? Would it be the same as Medeia’s? Or did he have another purpose?

If he had a system, then he would also be getting missions every now and then. However, Medeia couldn’t recall Lucian ever doing something strange or possessing items out of nowhere.

The more important question was, would he also come from a different world if he indeed had a system? But, he seemed to know his family quite well.

Now, she was confused.

Maybe he just wasn’t the type of person to get easily curious. Besides, Medeia might end up in trouble if she asked Lucian about the system.

"Do you want to know about my secret?" Medeia tried to shift the topic, but instead, she asked a problematic question. Or did she?

’Can I tell Lucian about the system?’ she asked in her heart.

[It depends.]

’What do you mean by "it depends"? Depends on what?’

[It depends on how you deliver the news. If you tell him directly, it will seem boring, and you’ll get a penalty.]

[But if the revelation is interesting, the watchers might give you a reward, Host!]

The watcher.

Every time the system said that, Medeia’s curiosity grew stronger.

’Because the more interesting it is, the more money you’ll get from the watchers?’

[That’s right! Host, you’re really suited to be a player in a reality show!]

Medeia gritted her teeth, feeling annoyed to be a spectacle for people whose faces she didn’t even know, but for now, the only thing she could do was follow the system’s game flow until she got the chance to attack.

"If you don’t mind, I’ll listen to your secret," Lucian’s answer interrupted Medeia’s thoughts about the system. "But there’s no pressure here."

So he was curious after all. He just didn’t want Medeia to feel burdened by telling him something she didn’t want to.

"Someday." Medeia touched his cheeks and promised, "I’ll tell you about my secret someday. But first, tell me about the mammoth mutant."

Lucian chuckled. "Alright. You can’t find the mutant mammoth anywhere except in the Black Zone forest." He explained, "I know the place, but it’s too far from here. Maybe we could get there in 6 days by car."

"That’s not a problem. I have the teleportation compass, remember?" Medeia asked. "Do you want to come with me?"

"Do you think I’d let you go alone to such a dangerous place?" Before Medeia could answer, he continued, "Of course, I’ll go with you, my love. You don’t even need to ask."

Medeia pressed the towel down his head because she still couldn’t get over his calling her "my love". It sounded so affectionate and too much for her heart.

"There, your hair is dry now." Medeia quickly stood up, trying to put some distance between them before her heart exploded from the intensity of his words. "Let’s go to the dining room now."

Lucian held her hand, tilting his head to look up at her. "I thought you wanted to do something else." Lucian sounded a bit disappointed. "You asked me to take off my clothes, after all."

Medeia froze, her cheeks burning at his bold statement. "Lucian!" she hissed, yanking her hand away. "I just didn’t want you wetting your clothes! Stop playing and get up. I’m starving."

Her angel had become a pervert, but deep down, Medeia secretly liked that side of him.

Having sex with Lucian was like stepping into heaven, the kind of experience you want to feel over and over again.

Unfortunately, the system had to ruin everything by reminding her of the watchers. That single thought instantly killed her mood.

Just imagining that there were people—or whatever those watchers were—spying on her private moments with her boyfriend? Oh, for hell’s sake, she wished every single one of them would go blind.

[Don’t worry, Host. Our program strictly enforces censorship. No one can see you during sex.]

Medeia, who was about to step outside, froze in her tracks. She hesitated for a moment before asking, "Not even you?"

[As soon as the system detects any sexual activity, it automatically shuts down temporarily.]

Wait. Now that the system mentioned it, Medeia realized something. She hadn’t heard the system’s voice at all when she had sex with Lucian before.

At the time, she thought the system had simply given her space, which was why it didn’t immediately announce her mission completions.

But now that she thought about it, didn’t this mean she could take advantage of it? If the system shut itself off during those moments, wouldn’t that give her the freedom to speak without being monitored?

She tilted her head, mulling it over. Should she test it out now?

"Lucian," Medeia called his name softly. "Do you want to touch my boobs?"

Lucian’s eyes widened in shock, completely caught off guard by her sudden and bold question. "What—"

Before he could finish, Medeia grabbed his hands and guided it under her shirt, pressing his palms against her breasts. "Just touch it," she said.

Lucian was confused, unsure of what had brought this on. But he wasn’t about to question it, or waste the feast she was offering.

"Fuck!" Medeia suddenly cursed, making Lucian startled. "Did I do something wrong?"
