The two left the reception room.

"Because he is my boyfriend, and if someone should serve him food, it should be me, his girlfriend."

Lu Miaochan extended her chopsticks and served some food she had personally cooked into Ye Xuan’s bowl, her face serious.

Wu Xiangjun laughed happily, pleased to see her daughter and Ye Xuan getting along so well, her smile almost splitting her face.

Lu Zhengguo took a sip of his wine, put down his glass, and looked at Ye Xuan with a benevolent tone, "Ye, from now on, don’t call us uncle and auntie. Call us ’father’ and ’mother’; it sounds more affectionate."

Ye Xuan smiled, quickly corrected his address, and called to Wu Xiangjun, "Mother!"

Wu Xiangjun was overjoyed, repeating the word three times, clearly expressing the happiness in her heart.
