Chapter 731: Chapter 731: Ghost Hits the Wall!

Now, Tang Zhong understood everything. The source of the sound that triggered the avalanche was them.

"Dammit!" Tang Zhong clenched his fists.

There was no time for kungfu now, getting the White Tiger Team out was the priority.

"Ah!" Cries of agony continued to reach their ears.

From a team of over a dozen, three had already perished here, either crushed into a pulp or impaled by the Bing Leng that pierced through the Heavenly Spirit Cover and protruded from beneath the jaw.

Tang Zhong dared not linger; with the Tang Sword in hand, he began to rescue people.

A huge snowball was about to crash down on someone.

The person had given up on fighting back, quietly waiting for death.

Just at that moment, Tang Zhong brought his sword down, cleaving the snowball in two.

The person, seeing this, was stunned, having thought they would die but now miraculously alive.

"Move!" Tang Zhong shouted to them.

He then continued to rescue others with the Tang Sword in hand.

All throughout the narrow pass, Tang Zhong’s figure flickered continuously, saving those who thought they were on the brink of death.

"Run!"

At the start of the narrow pass.

Three combatants watched the scene unfold, their faces revealing chilling smiles.

"Big brother, I didn’t expect that guy to actually have some skill!" the second brother asked.

"But he’s still going to die; he won’t last much longer," the big brother said coldly in response.

The Queen was also observing everything happening ahead.

They had been following behind Xuan Country’s troops all along until they reached this narrow pass, where they had stopped. Only now did they realize that the person leading the Xuan Country men was the young man they had encountered in the Dragon Group back in Xuan Country.

Remembering Tang Zhong’s appearance, the combat trio gritted their teeth. Now that they had come across Tang Zhong again, how could they possibly allow him to leave? They knew a loud noise would cause an avalanche, and so they had deliberately fired their guns, wanting Tang Zhong dead.

But unexpectedly, even with the avalanche unleashed, Tang Zhong still managed to survive. Still, they believed he would be dead soon.

Watching as the path ahead was gradually blocked.

They were not worried about not being able to cross; when the avalanche calmed down and flattened the area, a path would emerge, and by now, they no longer needed the Xuan Country people to guide them. They could sense the Blood Power lying ahead and, without any surprises, the location the Xuan Country people mentioned was also just ahead.

"Let’s go, keep moving forward!"

They advanced directly atop the accumulation of snowballs, just with a bit longer detour.

Inside the narrow passage ahead, the collapse was still ongoing.

Tang Zhong and White Tiger stood at the rear, covering the escape of the entire White Tiger Team.

With the Tang Sword in hand, Tang Zhong continually slashed through the falling snowballs and Bing Leng.

White Tiger became a fierce beast, his fists hammering down and shattering the snowballs and Bing Leng.

Finally, except for those who had already died, everyone else had escaped the danger.

Having just emerged from the narrow passage, they were so exhausted they sat down on the ground, panting heavily.

Turning to look back inside the pass, they saw the avalanche pouring down from above, along with more Bing Leng piercing through.

The space that had existed just a moment ago was swiftly filled with the accumulation of snowballs. If they hadn’t escaped quickly, they would likely now be crushed under the snowballs.

The team members had faces marred by the ordeal, remembering the brush with death they just experienced, their hearts pounding uncontrollably.

But the thought of their comrades dying inside clenched their fists tight. As they were fleeing the narrow pass, they saw the people at the entrance and knew the cause of the disturbance had come from there.

"Damn it, I swear I’ll make them pay with their lives!"

Tang Zhong didn’t speak, he simply issued an order, "Count our numbers and prepare to move on!"

Dead people cannot be brought back to life, and speaking too much is useless. However, Tang Zhong had memorized the appearance of the three warriors they had just fought. Next time they met, he would definitely slaughter them.

Then Tang Zhong, walking at the front, headed towards the distance.

The members of the White Tiger Team closely followed behind.

The Ice Snakes they had barely noticed before in the narrow gorge could have killed them all if it weren’t for Tang Zhong’s warning. Gradually, everyone came to recognize that this young General was truly extraordinary.

There was no longer the vast expanse of white snow around them; there was much less snow than before.

The ice mountains were fewer, resembling an ice plain.

Tang Zhong tensed up, realizing that he was getting closer to the place mentioned by the White Tiger.

"Everyone, put your backs into it!"

Just then, as they walked, they came upon a huge stone with writing on it.

It was a massive character: "Polar"!

Was it ice or a real stone?

The excited voices of the White Tiger Team rose up, "Yes, we’re not far from that place now. We passed by here the last time!"

"I remember it’s in the northeast direction from this stone!" one of them said excitedly, pointing in a direction.

"Let’s go!" Tang Zhong immediately commanded.

And so, Tang Zhong led the way.

The others quickly fell in line behind him.

The group moved forward, grand and unstoppable.

But before long, another stone appeared in front of them.

On this stone was again the character for "Polar".

"The same stone again?" Tang Zhong narrowed his eyes and looked around, only to find that everything around him seemed eerily familiar, like he had seen it somewhere before. He suddenly remembered the first stone they had come across—it must be an illusion.

"Wait, why is it this stone again? Why didn’t we see it last time?" said one of the members of the White Tiger Team in surprise after seeing the stone.

Regardless, they continued walking forward.

Soon, they saw another Polar Stone in front of them.

Tang Zhong looked around once more; the surroundings were still exactly the same as the first time they encountered the Polar Stone. What was going on?

He looked up at the sun, which was directly overhead. He had lived for many years but had never seen the sun sit at the zenith like this.

It seemed they must have fallen into some sort of loop of death!

Unsure, he continued moving forward to confirm his suspicions.

After walking once more, they returned to the same spot, still the same stone with the character for "Polar" inscribed, and the same Polar Stone. Looking around, the surroundings were exactly the same, and the sun remained at its central position.

Now, not only Tang Zhong had his suspicions, but the others also began to doubt.

"What is going on? How did we end up back here again!"

"Is... is this us being trapped?"

"I’ve heard of something called ghost hitting the wall, could it be that we’ve encountered it!"

Many began to panic.

While Tang Zhong, squinting his eyes, looked around, it seemed that they had truly fallen into a deadly loop this time.
