Chapter 44: What A Sin

Seeing Jake’s energetic and confident demeanor, Yakov’s fondness for him grew daily. He patted Jake’s shoulder and praised, "You’re doing well. Yana told me you’ve been performing exceptionally at the company, achieving outstanding results in just a month."

"Not at all. It’s all thanks to my colleagues and the leadership’s support," Jake replied humbly, though he was inwardly thrilled.

Mia and Taylor were also genuinely happy for him.

"You’re here." Just as everyone was about to continue the conversation, Yana’s cool voice rang out.

A tall, graceful figure slowly approached the group. Her familiar wine-red wavy hair and voluptuous body stood out even more today, as Yana wasn’t wearing her usual work attire. Instead, she had on a silver glitter strapless bodycon dress.

Her massive breasts were squeezed so tightly by the dress that they looked ready to burst, not only creating a deep, unfathomable cleavage but also making the sides of her breasts spill out slightly.

Her skin was as smooth and delicate as mutton-fat jade, flawless and tender like a young girl’s, while the innate sensuality in her bones exuded an irresistible allure.

Her slender, willow-like arms were encased in a women’s black blazer, perfectly covering large areas of exposed skin. The blazer only covered half of Yana’s upper body, her waist as delicate as a ribbon, her shoulders as if carved, her fragile waist like a supple willow branch that seemed as though it would snap in the wind yet solidly supported the towering peaks.

The extreme visual contrast between her voluptuous breasts and her slender waist made Jake secretly feel parched with desire.

Her perfectly rounded buttocks strained against the silver bodycon skirt, as if countless silver threads were about to burst free. That tantalizing tightness constantly toyed with a man’s heart.

If she were to unleash her charm, Jake believed countless men in the world would fall for her, prostrating themselves at her feet.

Her long, straight legs were clad in sheer black stockings, their movements exuding an innate, intoxicating sensuality. Her delicate feet were tucked into white cotton slippers, adding an air of mystery.

Jake didn’t want to compare, but with three different types of beauties before him, all closely related by blood, it was hard not to.

The icy, aloof aura of his Mother-in-law seemed innate, forming a stark contrast with her scorchingly seductive figure. Though Mia and Taylor were equally beautiful, they paled slightly in comparison to Yana.

But each had her own charm. To encounter three such stunning women at once, Jake must have accumulated immense good karma in his past life.

"Mother-in-law, happy Thanksgiving," Jake quickly snapped out of his daze.

Yakov also greeted him warmly, proud that his wife possessed both beauty and capability, like an ancient empress.

Yana glanced at Jake, her tone neither warm nor cold. "You do seem more spirited than before. Your uncle praised you earlier, and I didn’t believe it. Seeing you today, there’s some improvement. It seems working at the company has done you good. You finally look a bit more like Mia’s boyfriend."

"Mom, can we not talk about work during the holidays?" Mia was annoyed by her mother’s attitude, treating even family gatherings like a corporate meeting, leaving no room to breathe.

Taylor also smiled gently. "Yes, Sister, let’s talk about something else. It’s rare for us all to be together."

With her younger sister speaking up, Yana couldn’t press further. She scanned the room and asked Yakov, "Where’s Enes? He didn’t come back?"

Yakov quickly smoothed things over. "Enes called last minute and said he wouldn’t make it."

"Ah." Yana sighed softly but didn’t say anything more.

Everyone took their seats. Dinner was almost ready, as Yana had specially hired a top-tier chef to prepare a lavish feast for them.

Whether it was nerves or having drunk too much water, Jake suddenly felt the urge to pee. He whispered a plea for help into Mia’s ear.

Mia pointed to the second floor, signaling for Jake to go by himself.

It wasn’t that Mia didn’t want to accompany him, but in her mother’s eyes, leading her boyfriend to the bathroom was improper. Simply telling him where it was would suffice. Actually escorting him there would be undignified.

Jake didn’t dare make a scene and obediently went upstairs, searching carefully before finally relieving himself.

On his way back, at a blind corner, he coincidentally ran into Yana retrieving something.

Yana hadn’t expected Jake to appear there either. She had forgotten her phone earlier when coming downstairs and had returned to fetch it.

But then she collided with Jake.

"Mmm..." A soft moan escaped.

A fragrant body crashed into Jake. Reacting swiftly, he instinctively wrapped his arms around her waist, but the impact was too sudden.

His right hand, gripping her waist, couldn’t hold on and slid downward rapidly. At the same time, his left hand tightened around her shoulder. By the time the two were locked in an ambiguous embrace, Jake realized it was the aloof, coldly elegant Mother-in-law CEO in his arms.

The mature, intoxicating feminine scent emanating from Yana overpowered even her perfume, flooding Jake’s nostrils like an addictive drug.

Her face remained cool and composed, her long, narrow eyes still dazed from the collision, her pupils reflecting disbelief and a fleeting vulnerability.

Her delicate brows furrowed slightly, her red lips parting slightly, each exhale sending waves of heat that clouded Jake’s mind.

His left hand clutched Yana’s tender shoulder, and even through the blazer, he could feel its softness. His right hand, meanwhile, was at a complete loss.

Though he couldn’t see, he knew exactly where it had landed—on Yana’s perfectly rounded, peach-like buttocks. The thin silver-gray bodycon skirt felt like paper beneath his fingers, the smooth, pliant softness beneath making his mind go blank.

Yana hadn’t anticipated this coincidence either. She quickly composed herself from the fluster, regaining her usual icy haughtiness. The distinct masculine scent from Jake also made her pause for a split second, but she recovered swiftly, her voice still devoid of emotion.

"Thank you. Let me go."

"Huh?" Dazed, Jake didn’t immediately process her words. Instead, his right hand unconsciously squeezed a few times.

At that moment, Yana had not yet realized the position of Jake’s hands when suddenly a slight kneading sensation transmitted from her sensitive buttocks, instantly causing her to feel both shy and annoyed. Her tone immediately turned icy as she commanded Jake, "Let go!"

Awakened by the scolding from his mother-in-law, Jake suddenly realized the impropriety of the situation and hurriedly released Yana, his face full of apology. "Mother-in-law, are you alright? I didn’t mean to."

The feeble explanation held no weight, but since Yana considered it an accident, she did not pursue the matter further. Without a word, she turned and walked away, unaware that the side of her ear had quietly turned red.

With her back to Jake, Yana walked with graceful steps, her hips swaying subtly. Under the bright hallway lights, her full, rounded buttocks swayed rhythmically, creating waves of alluring motion. An indescribable, seductive charm radiated from her, intoxicating and irresistible.

Even Jake, who usually feared his mother-in-law, couldn’t help stealing a few more glances until her figure disappeared at the end of the corridor.

Disbelievingly, he flexed the fingers of his right hand. The astonishing softness of his mother-in-law’s buttocks was something he would never forget—the tender shoulders, the intoxicating fragrance of a mature woman. When Jake snapped back to reality, he was horrified to find that the dick between his legs was faintly stirring.

"Sin, sin! Mother-in-law, I didn’t mean to," Jake muttered under his breath, quickly making his way downstairs.

The villa had five floors. The second floor was occupied by Yana and Yakov, the third by Mia, and the fourth by Enes.

Sitting on her bed, the unintentional encounter with her daughter’s boyfriend had stirred ripples in Yana’s usually tranquil heart. But Yana was no ordinary woman—she quickly dismissed it as if nothing had happened.

At the dining table, Jake appeared to chat and laugh with everyone, but inwardly, he was uneasy. Though accidental, he had inadvertently violated his mother-in-law’s voluptuous curves. Given his deep reverence for her, he feared she might be angry enough to kick him out of the villa.

Jake was overthinking things.

Even when Yana came downstairs, she never mentioned the incident again.

During the meal, Jake stole a glance at his mother-in-law. Her expression remained composed as usual, occasionally joining in her sister and husband’s conversations and even smiling at times.

For a brief moment, Jake witnessed his mother-in-law’s smile for the first time. It was like a spring breeze, as if an iceberg had melted. Her radiant smile brimmed with happiness, though such warmth was never directed at Jake.

But Jake believed that in six months, he would prove himself through actions and capability, convincing her to approve his marriage to her daughter and earning her genuine smile and acceptance—just like real family.

Mia also noticed that her mother was in high spirits today, not putting on her usual CEO demeanor. She thought Jake’s efforts were finally paying off.

Taylor, having just emerged from a failed marriage and now opening her heart to Jake, was genuinely happy to see her sister gradually accepting him. Before Jake’s business trip, she had even called to ask about him, though she would never reveal their secret.

Meanwhile, Yakov, who had been tense, relaxed upon seeing his wife’s cheerful face. That brat Enes didn’t even show up for this important Thanksgiving gathering—did he not understand his mother’s temper?

Fortunately, his wife was in a good mood today, or else even Dad wouldn’t be able to save him.

The joyous Thanksgiving celebration passed amid laughter and merriment.

Just as Jake thought his mother-in-law had forgotten the incident on the second floor, she privately called him over before he left.

"It’s over. She’s settling the score now!"

Jake forced a bitter smile, utterly miserable.
