Chapter 806: Chapter 806 Celestial Formation

Master Cangqing’s words also confirmed Su Chengyu’s speculation, but such an answer was terrifying to contemplate.

"Taoist priest, I have another question, what is the relationship between the current Sect Master of the Demon Slayer Department and my grandfather?" Su Chengyu asked.

Master Cangqing said indifferently, "Yang Chengyin is your grandfather’s disciple."

This relationship was something Su Chengyu had never imagined; the current Demon Slayer Officer turned out to be his grandfather’s disciple.

"How many disciples did my grandfather have?" Su Chengyu asked again.

"As far as I know, besides your father, he only took one disciple, and that is Yang Chengyin. When your grandfather came to Mount Qingcheng, Yang Chengyin accompanied him. This person has incredible talent and was extremely intelligent, truly a gifted individual. I remember at that time, your grandfather mentioned this disciple with pride, saying he treated this pupil like his own son, as if he were his own flesh and blood."

Master Cangqing continued, "Later, Yang Chengyin indeed lived up to your grandfather’s teachings, his cultivation improved rapidly, and he eventually became renowned throughout the world, inheriting your grandfather’s mantle. Now he controls the Demon Slayer Department and ranks on the Immortal List."

"What about my father?" Su Chengyu pressed on.

"The first time your grandfather came to Mount Qingcheng, your father was not yet born; at that time, Yang Chengyin was just a child. As for your father, I have seen him too. That was on your grandfather’s second visit to Mount Qingcheng; he brought your father along, who was about the same age as Yang Chengyin back then."

"Between my father and Yang Chengyin, who is more powerful?"

"Both peerless geniuses of their era, equals in brilliance, difficult to distinguish who’s superior. Your father also possesses extraordinary talent. Your grandfather was very proud and told me that although I have many disciples, not one could compare to his one pupil and one son."

Master Cangqing held Su Zhedian and Yang Chengyin in very high esteem.

"Then, do you know where my father might be now?" Su Chengyu asked with great anticipation.

He had learned that his mother was in the Yu Clan, but he had always been ignorant of his father’s whereabouts, and so, Su Chengyu could not help but inquire further.

"I do not know," Master Cangqing shook his head.

"Could it be that he’s also dead?"

Master Cangqing shook his head, "I do not know, but I think that with your father’s strength and intelligence, if he did not wish to die, he probably could avoid it."

"Was my grandfather not intelligent? Was his strength not mighty? But what happened in the end? Didn’t he still fall?" Su Chengyu’s emotions became somewhat agitated.

With a sweep of his horsetail whisk, Master Cangqing said, "I will not speak of things I should not, so you need not try to indirectly pry information out of me."

Master Cangqing saw right through the little ruse of Su Chengyu.

"Taoist priest, I heard from Mengmeng that Mount Qingcheng has a mountain-guarding array called the Celestial Formation, which knows past and future, can find dragons or people, and peer into the secrets of heaven’s will. I would like to ask you to use this array to help me find three people, and I hope you will grant me this favor."

Su Chengyu rose from his cushion, knelt in front of Master Cangqing, and performed a grand kowtow.

"I can help you with this matter. You need not perform such a grand gesture; come with me," Master Cangqing stood up and walked towards the staircase.

Su Chengyu thanked him repeatedly, following closely behind Master Cangqing. This was also the most important reason he had come to Mount Qingcheng.

Although he hadn’t been able to learn about his grandfather’s affairs, if he could find out the whereabouts of his father, Lin Chuxue, and Su Xiaoxiao, the trip would not have been in vain.

Su Chengyu ascended to the third floor and saw the Celestial Formation of Mount Qingcheng. Master Cangqing stood in the center of the formation and spoke first, "There is something I must explain beforehand. Land Immortals all possess spells and Divine Skills capable of concealing their fate from divination. The Celestial Formation cannot discern their fate, so if you wish to find your father’s whereabouts, I am powerless to help. Additionally, those with a fate as special as your apprentice, the formation is unable to investigate."

Su Chengyu felt a renewed sense of loss but was helpless to change it.

"I understand, thank you for your efforts, Taoist Master. The first person I’m looking for is named Su Xiaoxiao. She was an abandoned infant I picked up when I was a child. We grew up together, and I regard her as my own sister, as my family. However, about half a year ago, she disappeared mysteriously, and her whereabouts have been unknown ever since. I am very worried and want to know where she is now."

Master Cangqing swept his horsetail whisk and said, "You need to provide her birth date and time, place of birth, and name."

"She was an abandoned infant. I really don’t know her exact birth date and time," Su Chengyu said.

"Then I am powerless to help. To find someone through the Celestial Formation, the corresponding birth date and time are necessary. The place of birth and name are actually not that important unless I have personally seen the person," Master Cangqing explained.

"Would a photo work?" Su Chengyu asked with poorly concealed disappointment.

"Certainly not. If I have seen the person in the flesh, I can use the Qi Watching Technique of Mount Qingcheng to calculate the birth date, time, and destiny."

Su Chengyu felt very lost, realizing his hopes for finding Su Xiaoxiao now rested solely on Yu Yanshu. He then reported Lin Chuxue’s name, place of birth, and birth date and time, which he knew.

"Taoist Master, she has an Innate Spirit Body. The Celestial Formation can search for her, right?" Su Chengyu asked, trying to anticipate any issues.

"Although an Innate Spirit Body is indeed rare, it does not count as a special fate, and the Celestial Formation is capable of searching," Master Cangqing replied.

Listening to this, Su Chengyu let out a small sigh of relief. Soon, Master Cangqing began casting spells to activate the Celestial Globe and the Celestial Formation. The array flickered with light, and the Celestial Globe started to spin.

After a while, the Celestial Globe came to a halt, and Master Cangqing opened his eyes, saying, "I have located her. This person is currently in a large mountain within the territory of Qianzhou Province."

Qianzhou Province, like Shu Zhou, is one of the Southwest Seven Provinces. Su Chengyu quickly asked, "Is there a specific location?"

"The mountain is called Tong Mountain, but this place is exceedingly dangerous. I advise you not to enter it lightly. Tong Mountain was once the stronghold of the Witchcraft Gate. The local customs are fierce, and many locals still worship the Witchcraft Gate to this day. Tong Mountain is a miasmic land and is filled with many dangerous arrays and traps," Master Cangqing said.

It made sense that Lin Chuxue had been captured by the people of the Witchcraft Gate and now detained at Tong Mountain.

"Thank you for the warning, Taoist Master. I will exercise my own judgment," Su Chengyu said, bowing with clasped hands.

"Do you have anyone else you wish to find?" Master Cangqing asked.

"No more. There is another matter for which I would like to use the blessed land of Four Symbols Valley in Qingcheng Mountain to undergo my tribulation."

Master Cangqing stroked his beard and said, "It is indeed my intention to have you come to Qingcheng Mountain. Rest assured and undergo your tribulation. Once you have succeeded, you can then set out for Kunwu Mountain."

Su Chengyu was very grateful to Master Cangqing and was about to leave when Master Cangqing added, "I also have a matter to discuss with you."

"Please speak, Taoist Master. As long as it is within my power, I will surely comply," Su Chengyu quickly replied.

"When you go to the Kunwu Realm for your journey, take Chen Mengmeng with you and leave your apprentice here at Mount Qingcheng."

Hearing this from Master Cangqing, Su Chengyu was somewhat taken aback, not understanding why Master Cangqing suddenly wanted Chen Mengmeng to experience the Kunwu Realm, yet insisted on keeping Yu Yanshu behind.
