When Lei Dongfeng saw that Su Chengyu had turned into a small alley, he decided to stop sneaking around. It was a good place to kill and loot, so he quickly followed suit. With a single leap, he launched a sneak attack from behind, initiating his move with his astounding Thunderous 18 palms, intending to kill Su Chengyu instantly.

Su Chengyu, walking along the small path, seemed to have no guards up. Lei Dongfeng’s thunderous palm descended heavily, hitting him squarely.

Su Chengyu was sent flying tens of meters by Lei Dongfeng’s palm strike and fell to the ground without moving.

A cold smirk appeared at the corner of Lei Dongfeng’s mouth. He dusted off his palms and said, "Young man, you refused to take an easy way out. If you had just sold me the Muzi Qingdai earlier, you would have spared your own life. You’ve brought this on yourself; don’t blame me."

As Lei Dongfeng approached Su Chengyu’s body, intending to loot him, he saw the body flash with a blinding light and instantly turned into a burning talisman.

"What... what’s going on?" Lei Dongfeng blanched.

Just then, Lei Dongfeng felt a harsh wind coming from behind. He reacted quickly, spinning around to throw a punch that blocked Su Chengyu’s Sword Qi, causing him to retreat several steps.

Su Chengyu was standing behind him, holding the Dragon Slayer Sword.

"You conniving bastard, do you still want to kill me? Do you think you can?" Su Chengyu said coldly.

Lei Dongfeng, unfazed, burst out laughing and said, "You overestimate yourself. If you had taken the opportunity to run a moment ago, I wouldn’t have been able to stop you. Take this!"

Now Su Chengyu was at the ninth level of the Foundation Establishment Realm, with the power of the Dragon Slayer Sword, he had strength rivalling the Martial King Realm.

Lei Dongfeng unleashed his Thunderous 18 palms again, displaying his Strength of Martial King Realm. The palm force was overwhelming, like thousands of rolling thunderbolts. Even though Lei Dongfeng’s attack was fierce, Su Chengyu didn’t falter and used his sword much like a scimitar, applying the Silver Moon Sword Technique, and immediately a screen of sword shadows, as bright as moonlight, filled the sky.

Lei Dongfeng shifted from offensive to defensive, changing his palms to fists. He threw punches that blocked Su Chengyu’s relentless sword qi. His surroundings began to degrade as the sword qi gouged deep trenches into the ground.

At this point, Su Chengyu’s fighting spirit was running high. After implementing the Silver Moon Sword Technique, his sword technique changed quickly, and he began to use the Chaotic Sword Code. The Dragon Slayer Sword sounded a dragon’s roar, and a Shadow of the True Dragon emerged from behind him as he swung his sword.

Lei Dongfeng jumped into action instead of retreating, his energy rushing out, spiralling like a whirlpool. His fists clashed, and he roared out a punch, raising a cloud of dust. The spectacle was monumental.

The Shadow of the True Dragon descended, crushing Lei Dongfeng’s fist energy, while he retreated to maintain some distance.

Blood trickled down Lei Dongfeng’s arm. Su Chengyu’s last sword technique had injured him.

"A cultivator... I underestimated you."

Lei Dongfeng’s mouth twitched subtly. Although his injury wasn’t serious, he knew he was unlikely to kill the man before him. He weighed the cost against the benefit of risking his life for a Muzi Qingdai. He felt an urge to retreat and backpedalled a little.

"Are you leaving? Don’t you need to avenge your nephew, Lei Chaosheng?" said Su Chengyu coldly.

"What did you say?" Lei Dongfeng knitted his brows.

Su Chengyu used a spell to revert to his original appearance, and said, "I killed Lei Chaosheng."

"Su Chengyu? It was you!" Lei Dongfeng looked shocked.

"Let me take you down a peg so you can join him."

Having said that, Su Chengyu was ready to engage again. The Dragon Slayer Sword’s brilliance grew brighter. It soared into the air and slashed towards Lei Dongfeng.

Lei Dongfeng shouted in anger. Su Chengyu attacked from all directions, completely enveloping him. With no other choice, he made a desperate gamble, using the most powerful maneuver of his Thunderous Fist, releasing a massive imprint of his fist.

The collision of Sword Qi and fist imprint created a standoff for several seconds, after which Lei Dongfeng’s Thunderous Fist imprint began to crumble, clearly no match for Su Chengyu’s Sword Qi.

A feeling of dread crept up inside Lei Dongfeng, he gnashed his teeth, took a step forward. He summoned all of his energy to blast through Su Chengyu’s sword attack with one monstrous move.

The explosion of energy knocked Lei Dongfeng back. He seized the moment and turned to flee. He did not wish to fight to the death. Su Chengyu’s strength had exceeded his expectations.

His elder brother, Lei Donghai, had already personally arrived at Yun City. All Lei Dongfeng could do now was retreat for the moment and then join forces with Lei Donghai to get revenge on Su Chengyu.

"You can’t get away!"

Su Chengyu had no intention of letting Lei Dongfeng go. He pointed at Lei Dongfeng and the Ruyi Golden Ring on his finger flew out, instantly ensnaring Lei Dongfeng so that he couldn’t move.

A look of horror flashed across Lei Dongfeng’s eyes, and the next moment the Dragon Slayer Sword cut off his head. His head rolled around while his headless body spurted blood and toppled onto the ground.

The Ruyi Golden Ring returned to Su Chengyu’s finger, and he played with it, looking satisfied.

"Mengmeng sure gave me a good magic treasure. Without it, I might not have been able to kill him if he was determined to get away."

Su Chengyu was happy. With his current strength, he was capable of defeating Lei Dongfeng, a first rank Martial King. However, it would still be challenging to kill him.
