The Green Fox responded, "The Heavenly Fox Orb has always been under the protection of the Empress. It is a token representing her position, as revered as the imperial seal of your Human Clan’s emperor. If you want the Heavenly Fox Orb, you should not ask me. You should ask the Empress of our Fox Clan."

"The Green Hillock Empress is already dead! Where in the world is there the Green Hillock Empress now? And according to the records of the Demon Slayer Department, the Green Hillock Empress violated clan rules by marrying a human and handed over the Heavenly Fox Orb. Are you trying to trick me?" Red Flame snorted coldly.

Enraged, Red Flame lost patience when he saw that Green Fox refused to reveal anything.

After speaking, Green Fox revealed his true form -- a colossal green demon fox with eight tails. However, on closer inspection, it was clear that seven of his tails were illusions. Only one actual tail remained. It was indicative that Green Fox had had seven of his fox tails cut off, and he was on his last life.

Green Fox let out a mournful howl, and Bai Ling, who was by his side, morphed into a white fox to protect him. The array in the cave was activated, instantly exploding, and molten magma surged from all sides.

He didn’t have any regrets about Red Flame, but he felt compassion for Green Fox and Bai Ling. This was not solely because he also carried Fox Clan blood, but because he was moved by the deep affection between Green Fox and Bai Ling.

After everyone evacuated, the mountain began to collapse. Thick smoke filled the air and loud noised ensued. As the mountain collapsed, volcanic lava spewed out, covering everything in volcanic ash and rendering the entire area hazy.

Just as the Dragon Soul officers were preparing to evacuate, a figure tumbled down from a nearby hillside, startling everyone present.
