Even in the wee hours of the morning, Old Crow Street was still bustling, as it was the busiest night market in Lin Jiang with stalls lining both sides of the street, selling all sorts of things.

Passing through the stalls, they arrived in an area with street food stands. Su Chengyu group arrived at their usual spot, and the owner warmly greeted Liu Yan.

"What do you guys want to eat? Just order, don’t be polite with me." Su Chengyu said.

"Brother Yu, rest assured, we definitely won’t save you any money!" Everyone laughed.

While the others ordered food, Su Chengyu sat next to Liu Yan, both recalling Xu Nanzhi, though neither said anything.

Towards dawn, plenty of beer had been drunk, and many of the stalls on Old Crow Street had closed, and the lively Old Crow Street quieted down, with everyone practically drunk.

Su Chengyu got up to pay the bill, and the owner said, "Mr. Su, how could I take your money? You’re a living Buddha in the hearts of the citizens of Lin Jiang."

"It delayed you from closing the stall, consider it a hardship fee." Su Chengyu patted the owner on the shoulder, who quickly agreed.

Liu Yan had a high tolerance for alcohol, but even she was slightly tipsy. Su Chengyu helped her walk back to the parking lot, just as he was about to open the car door, Liu Yan swiveled around, hooking her hands around Su Chengyu’s neck, gazing at him with an enchanting look.

"Su Chengyu, do you like me or not?" Liu Yan uncharacteristically asked directly.

Although there had been some ambiguity between them, neither had ever addressed it directly, always maintaining a certain distance.

After a long while, Liu Yan gradually regained her senses, a thought crossing her mind, "Man, that was tiring! How do Nan Zhi and Chuxue manage?"

Feeling totally tuckered out, Liu Yan began to wonder if Xu Nanzhi and Lin Chuxue felt as exhausted as she did after the time they spend with Su Chengyu.
