The sword’s radiance flashed, breaking Mao Taixi’s palm-strike force. The aftershocks spread, causing everyone to retreat. After unleashing this one palm-strike, Mao Taixi attempted to flee without regard to anything else, as his fighting prowess was rendered nearly non-existent.

After years of bullying and domineering behavior in Jiangbei, Mao Taixi couldn’t believe that he was so hastily following in the footsteps of Zhao Tai’an and Cao Taiming, similarly falling at the hands of the same foe.

Shen Yongji said, "Mao Taixi has already been killed by you. You can leave now, right?"

"My business here is done, but hers is not."

"If I want to interfere, I will. If you aren’t satisfied, try to stop me," Su Chengyu retorted arrogantly.

Shen Yongji was so infuriated that his face twitched, but he could do nothing against Su Chengyu. His heart was filled with indignation. As the illustrious head of the Shen Family, when had he ever had to swallow such humiliation?

"So, what do you want?" Shen Yongji asked.

"You have no interference in my affair with Mao Taixi, thus I will uphold my promise and not kill anyone from the Shen Family! However, I will cripple all of your Dantian meridians."

The instant Su Chengyu’s words fell, all members of the Shen Family were aghast, glaring at him in fury. If the meridians and Dantian of all the members were crippled, wouldn’t that imply the downfall of the Shen Family?

Shen Yongji quickly shut his mouth firmly, not daring to make a sound.
