Jin Yi’s face was menacing. He was confident that if he had Yu Yanshu in his custody, he could extract the information from her.

Although Yu Yanshu had prepared herself mentally for the worst scenario, hearing Jin Yi’s threatening words still spiked a sense of terror within her.

Yu Yanshu closed her eyes. She felt no fear, no dread. A hint of a relieved smile appeared on her lips.

"Master, if I am reborn, Yan’er will repay her debts to you," Yu Yanshu proclaimed with her eyes closed, ready to face death bravely.
