Su Chengyu did not want to tarnish his image as a hero in Fang Yue’s eyes, especially because these shenanigans were all Yang Junmo’s doing!

"Who let you snatch my treasure and my woman? Today, I must vent my anger!" Yang Junmo looked resolved to deal with Su Chengyu even if it killed him.

"You’re talking nonsense. I don’t believe he could do such a thing, quit stirring up trouble."

Fang Yue was a smart woman, she knew she must stand by her man at such times, even if these things were true, she would never believe them.

"Then tonight you must make up for it properly." Fang Yue said, her face filled with enticing charm.

Either way, Su Chengyu could not, so he lifted Fang Yue up and headed towards the bedroom.

"A friend ran into me and dragged me for a drink, I’m sorry to have made you wait so long." Su Chengyu said.

"Have you bathed yet?" Gu Ying asked.

"Of course!" After Su Chengyu replied, his roaming hands made Gu Ying softly moan as she quickly turned around and offered a passionate kiss.

Su Chengyu felt that he was becoming an expert in time management. After tending to Fang Yue, he hurried back to tend to Gu Ying, his old waist once again under strain.

Early the next morning, Su Chengyu left Jiangyang and headed back to Lin Jiang.

When Fang Yue woke up and saw the note left behind by Su Chengyu, she didn’t seem to be angry. She yawned and said, "For your hard work last night, I’ll excuse your unannounced departure."

Once back in Lin Jiang, Su Chengyu first picked up Yu Yanshu from Jade View Garden. Now that her eyes were healed, Su Chengyu brought her back to Yulong Bay No.1 Villa.

Xie Wanrong gave a simple report.

After giving his instructions, Su Chengyu immediately went to the Pill-refining Room and prepared to start refining the Fusion Soul Pill.
