Xia Ruolan held the dress and walked out, saying to Su Chengyu, "This dress is too expensive, I can’t accept it."

"Does our bond as teacher and student not outweigh this dress? I think this dress suits you well, why don’t you try it on to see if it fits."

Su Chengyu said, laughing.

Xia Ruolan went into the room to change into the dress. She looked at herself in the mirror and indeed, the dress highlighted her figure and demeanor.

"Does it look good?" Xia Ruolan walked out and twirled around in front of Su Chengyu.

"It looks very good." Su Chengyu said honestly.

"Thank you." Xia Ruolan smiled gently, "Send me the video, I’m going to talk to Li Wanpeng about a divorce. If he doesn’t agree, I will report him to the police with the video."

"Li Wanpeng is ruthless. If you go alone, you may not be able to handle him. Let me accompany you." Su Chengyu suggested.

Xia Ruolan hesitated for a moment and said, "Then I am troubling you."

Just then, his secretary knocked and entered, saying, "President Li, your wife is here."

Xia Ruolan walked into Li Wanpeng’s office with Su Chengyu. Seeing Su Chengyu, Li Wanpeng sneered, "You claimed you weren’t having an affair and yet, you dare to bring your lover to my company."

"Mind your words, there’s nothing shady between he and I, unlike your disgusting acts."

As soon as Xia Ruolan saw Li Wanpeng, she couldn’t keep her anger in. Thinking about what Li Wanpeng had done, Xia Ruolan was instantly filled with raging resentment.

"Enough! Stop making excuses. What are you two here for?" Li Wanpeng impatiently asked.

"I want a divorce!"

"Fine! You’re penniless and I’ll divorce you right away." Li Wanpeng retorted.

"Li Wanpeng, you have no shame! You conspired with the doctor, drugged me to cause infertility, and sent me to Diao Sheng after getting me drunk. I never thought you would be this disgusting. Now, you even think of leaving me penniless, dream on!" Xia Ruolan wished she could slap Li Wanpeng twice.

"You found out about it? Yes, you’re right, I did those things. So what?" Li Wanpeng arrogantly confessed.

"I have evidence and I’m going to report to the police!" Xia Ruolan declared.

"Go ahead and report it then. I am friends with Director Luo. You’re welcome to report and see who ends up at a loss." Li Wanpeng confidently proclaimed.

Xia Ruolan was so angry that her face turned pale. Su Chengyu then asked, "Want to hit him?"

"I do!" Xia Ruolan seethed.

"I’ll hit him for you."

Su Chengyu moved swiftly, got up to Li Wanpeng, and swiftly slapped him twice, knocking him down. Li Wanpeng fell on the ground, blood oozing from his nose and mouth. After a long while, he got up and spat out four broken teeth. Seeing stars, his head was buzzing and his face felt scorching pain.

Xia Ruolan was stunned, she never expected that Su Chengyu would be such a tough character. He immediately took action without any hesitation.

"You shouldn’t have hit him that hard. We’re at his company and if a fight kicks off, you’ll be at a disadvantage." Xia Ruolan counseled.

"No worries, people like him deserve it. By giving him a couple of slaps, I was just letting off some steam for you." Su Chengyu openly grinned. Xia Ruolan felt a surge of warmth in her heart, having a man standing by her and protecting her was a comforting feeling.

"Damn it! You bastard, how dare you hit me, you’re seeking death! I swear if I don’t kill you today, I’ll be your grandson!"

Li Wanpeng came back to his senses, raging with anger. As he wiped the blood off his face, he started shouting, "Guards! Guards!"

As soon as he entered the room, Su Chengyu had set up a barrier. No matter how much Li Wanpeng shouted, nobody outside could hear him.

"Are they all dead or what?"

Li Wanpeng went towards his desk to call for help using the landline, but Su Chengyu crushed it to bits.

Su Chengyu slightly narrowed his eyes. If it weren’t for Xia Ruolan’s successful divorce, Li Wanpeng would have been dead by now. How could he tolerate being insulted by him?

"Li Wanpeng! You’ve gone too far!" Xia Ruolan angrily replied.

"I am being unreasonable, what can you do to me? Move aside, I’m calling for help!" Li Wanpeng headed for the office door, but Su Chengyu pulled him back and pinned him to the ground.

"Su Chengyu, don’t be impulsive, cool down!"

Xia Ruolan was shocked, she never expected Su Chengyu to be so violent. She was afraid that if things got out of hand, it would end badly.
