Gu Ying looked at the lifeless body of Wang Zhe, not feeling an ounce of sympathy for him. He didn’t deserve any compassion.

After Gu Ying left the room, Su Chengyu burned Wang Zhe’s body into ashes using a fire talisman and flushed them down the toilet, also cleaning up all the blood in the room.

Su Chengyu went to the other room, one arm holding Gu Ying, the other hand caressing Gu Xiao Shuang’s swollen cheek. The redness quickly dissipated.

"Let Little Shuang rest for a while, tell me what happened? How did your ex-husband break into our home?" Su Chengyu asked.

Gu Ying hesitated before telling him about her uncle and her aunt. She didn’t expect that even after getting two hundred thousand from her, they were still unsatisfied.
