Seeing Lin Chuxue’s attitude, Su Chengyu realized that she had completely turned against him. Su Chengyu never expected that Lin Chuxue would choose to believe Yuan Chaoqun, a despicable and shameless schemer.

Su Chengyu had to admit, he was impressed by Yuan Chaoqun’s acting skills.

Lin Chuxue’s heart ached intermittently. Su Chengyu was the first man she had loved, the first to truly penetrate her guarded heart, the one who left an indelible mark

But the recent series of events disillusioned her about Su Chengyu. It all culminated to this point where she could no longer control her emotions.

She made up her mind to completely break ties with Su Chengyu and forget everything. She decided to treat it as a dream that had ended. The pain was unbearable, but she believed it´s better a short sharp pain than a long drawn one.

Being indecisive was never Lin Chuxue’s style.

"I didn’t expect, Grandmaster Su to stoop so low to frame me. Why would I harm you or the Lin family?" Yuan Chaoqun said.

"Enough, let’s not talk about this anymore! I’ll take you to the hospital," Lin Chuxue said.

After returning to his car, Su Chengyu cursed in frustration, "Lin Chuxue, you’re so foolish. You can’t tell right from wrong."

"Did you have a fight with her?"

Fang Qing, sitting in the passenger seat, felt a surge of sourness in her heart as she noticed Su Chengyu’s anger.

"I really didn’t expect Chuxue to like you," Fang Qing sighed.

"What do you mean by that? Am I not good enough?" Su Chengyu replied, grinning.

"It’s not that, she used to hate men, and suddenly showing interest in one just feels strange," Fang Qing said, unaware of Su Chengyu’s intimate encounter with Lin Chuxue.

"You’re so shameless!"

Fang Qing rolled her eyes, then asked, "Did she fight with you because of me? I can help you explain. I had no choice but to say those things earlier."

"No need for that."

Su Chengyu drove away from the Dongling Grand Restaurant. Soon, Fang Qing’s colleagues arrived and sealed off the scene, secured He Shou Xin’s body, and reported the incident to Dragon Soul.

At Dragon Soul’s Headquarters in Lin Jiang, Stone Sword Edge was shocked upon reading the report.

"How could He Shou Xin, a second-class grandmaster, be killed by Su Chengyu?" He asked.

Stone Sword Edge frowned, while Dragon Soul’s Deputy Grand Marshal Guan Yong remarked, "Is this Su Chengyu really a prodigy? He was just a demigrandmaster during the stadium duel, and now, less than ten days later, he is capable of killing a second-class grandmaster. Terrifying!"

"If this man grows any further, he will definitely become a major threat. Zeng Yifan, take hold of the Dragon Soul Arrest Order and immediately capture Su Chengyu."

Stone Sword Edge initially thought that employing the Cai Boxing Gate would easily get rid of Su Chengyu. But the rapid pace of Su Chengyu’s progress caused worry, forcing him to act promptly.

"Grand Marshal, what reason do we have to arrest him?" Zeng Yifan asked.

"He committed murder in public, creating a severely unfavorable influence. Just for this point alone, Dragon Soul has enough cause to arrest him," Stone Sword Edge said authoritatively.

Normally, Dragon Soul wouldn’t interfere in fights between martial artists.

"How could I possibly arrest Su Chengyu, given that he’s capable of killing a second-class grandmaster, with my level of skill?" Zeng Yifan said.

"Do you think he would dare to resist arrest? You are the deputy of Dragon Soul carrying an arrest warrant. If you fail to capture Su Chengyu, you shall be punished according to Dragon Soul’s laws."

Stone Sword Edge gave the strict order, signed the arrest warrant, and Zeng Yifan, along with three other Dragon Soul envoys, immediately headed toward Jade View Garden

This was the second time Zeng Yifan led a team to arrest Su Chengyu, he felt helpless and sent Su Chengyu a text message during the ride there.

"The Grand Marshal has ordered your arrest, you will be brought back to Dragon Soul HQ for questioning. Your chances of surviving are slim. Run."

Zeng Yifan admired Su Chengyu. Even though they hadn’t interacted much, they had formed a bond. He didn’t want Su Chengyu to fall victim to Stone Sword Edge’s schemes.

As Fang Qing was injured, Su Chengyu drove her home to tend to her injuries.

Once inside his home, Su Chengyu undressed, revealing his perfect physique. The wound on his chest was still hideous to look at.

Fang Qing glanced at it, and immediately turned her head away, her face flushing, "Put your clothes back on."

"Even Captain Fang can be shy?" Su Chengyu joked.

"I...I am also an unmarried woman, okay? I won’t be shy in front of others, but..." Fang Qing pouted.

Su Chengyu went into his room, changed his clothes, asked Fang Qing to remove her outer clothing, and began examining her injuries.

Upon removing her outer clothing, Fang Qing was left in only a tank top, she felt a bit embarrassed.

"My injury seems to have healed! How did you do that?"

"That’s a secret," Su Chengyu replied with a smile.

"Fine then, I’m leaving."
