As Tripitaka was bewildered, he saw the underbelly of the B-2 suddenly open, and a huge, bizarre missile was launched, aimed right at him. Tripitaka was taken aback, retreating rapidly back into the tunnel, followed by the missile that chased after him.

The new tunnel blasted by Yan Fei's bomb was winding and not only narrow but also of insufficient height, so despite guidance from the Quantum Radar and precise control from the Auxiliary Brain, the huge missile couldn't completely avoid the underground rocks in the tunnel. It smashed into an obstructing rock, causing an earth-shattering explosion. Then, a large section of the tunnel, nearly a hundred meters long, collapsed, with a deluge of sand and stone falling down on Tripitaka, who was sprinting towards the front, and entirely blocking off the tunnel that should not have existed in the first place.

The B-2's first attack had dealt with the God-Level Expert Tripitaka, eliminating the greatest threat Yan Fei faced. The B-2 then quickly reduced its altitude, flying above the rock under Yan Fei that was about to melt completely, and hovered still. Yan Fei leaped into the Drone Cockpit. Just as Yan Fei had escaped danger, a massive fire engulfed the rock beneath him. After a dozen or so seconds, the entire rock was melted by the magma and disappeared into the lake of lava.

After the drone had shaken off the pursuit of the US Forces' warplanes and anti-aircraft missiles ambushed on both sides of the Hoover Dam, it immediately flew from an altitude of 25,000 meters towards Las Vegas to rendezvous with Yan Fei. Yan Fei was now underground at a location he was unaware of, but he had a mysterious connection with the drone. Using the changes in the angle and distance of this mysterious connection, even though Yan Fei had lost his sense of direction, the drone was able to locate him. Thus, with a simple conversion of data by the Auxiliary Brain, the drone determined Yan Fei's actual location and rapidly flew to the airspace above it.

Yan Fei had entered a sealed-off underground tunnel in the Paradise Palace Casino and was fleeing at high speeds within it, with Tripitaka entering the same tunnel behind him in hot pursuit. As one fled and the other chased, they passed numerous junctions, and in the end, both had lost their sense of direction, unaware of their location.

However, the Auxiliary Brain calculated that Yan Fei had indeed run beyond the Las Vegas City area and arrived at the vast desert west of Las Vegas, about 1,000 meters below the surface. Upon flying above the location where Yan Fei actually was, the drone immediately activated its Quantum Radar to scan the desert below.

With the drone having increased the power of the Quantum Radar Scan, the desert within a radius of 1 kilometer, including the terrain 100 meters beneath, was entirely within Yan Fei's control. He then noticed some abnormalities in the desert: Up to 50 meters deep, the desert was filled with loose sand, but beyond that, there was nothing but hard rock. However, running vertically down through these hard rocks was a large cylindrical tunnel with no hard rocks, just soft sand filling the inside.

Combining the knowledge of the hole in the dome above the lava lake and the recently collected black sphere, Yan Fei quickly realized that this vertical cylindrical tunnel must have been created when the black sphere fell from the sky into the lava lake. So even though surrounded by hard rock, there was still a downward tunnel in the middle.

Having discovered this vertical tunnel, Yan Fei speculated even more about the mysterious black sphere. It had to be extraordinary; judging by its physical properties, it seemed not to be an object from Earth. Thus, the most likely possibility was that it came from outer space. For unknown reasons, the black sphere came to Earth, plummeting down with tremendous kinetic energy, piercing the underground rocks here, and it might have even continued downwards, breaking through the Earth's crust and causing the underground molten lava to surge up, forming the lava lake.

Otherwise, under normal circumstances, a depth of 1,000 meters underground wouldn't suffice to form a lava lake–not to mention that there was a vast space above the lake with seemingly no pressure.

Then, the black sphere continued to float in the lake of lava, and over many years under the intense lava, a large hemispherical dome was formed. The hole at the dome was connected to the downward tunnel above. It was only later, due to some other cause, that this tunnel got blocked, and the lava lake was completely isolated from the outside world.
