Chapter 1561: Chapter 608 Various Calculations

The fourteen people here were all God-Level Experts, the most formidable humans on Earth. Together, they formed the most powerful team in human history. Yet, when faced with the enigmatic Destiny Organization, they had little confidence. They weren’t even certain whether they would survive this raid. Their departure carried an air of tragic determination.

After everyone had left the cave, Ancestorial Land, walking at the rear, suddenly struck out with his fist. Harnessing the power granted by his metal armor, he smashed the cave’s entrance. Under Ancestorial Land’s immense strength, the entrance suffered a massive collapse, with dirt and rocks tumbling down, sealing the cave completely.

Upon witnessing this act by Ancestorial Land, some in the team inwardly lamented the missed opportunity, including Yan Fei. Ancestorial Land’s Mechanical Monkey had been forced into standby mode due to its energy being shut down, now lying inside the cave. If only Yan Fei could veer off briefly during their advance, he could return to the cave to secure the Mechanical Monkey within his Universal Space. Once back in Dreamland Cave World, he could retrieve the Mechanical Monkey and, with Yang Qi’s laboratory and the supercomputer’s calculation capabilities, easily crack its control program—transforming it into a potent ally.

But Ancestorial Land had clearly anticipated this scenario, choosing to collapse the cave entrance before leaving. As a result, entering the cave would now require extensive time and effort, making it impossible for Yan Fei to discreetly retrieve the Mechanical Monkey. The same intent had crossed the minds of Captain China and Tripiṭaka as well. But lacking any communication devices to alert their forces to this location, they could only watch helplessly as the Mechanical Monkey got buried within the cave.

Yan Fei did contemplate another method to acquire the Mechanical Monkey: summoning his Drone Avatar, switching it to Subterranean Mode, and tunneling inside the cave to secure the Mechanical Monkey into Universal Space. However, there was an underlying concern. While the Mechanical Monkey appeared immobilized, it couldn’t be ruled out as an elaborate ploy by Ancestorial Land. If the Drone, operating in Subterranean Mode, encountered a fully functional Mechanical Monkey, the consequences could be disastrous. So, Yan Fei quickly dismissed his plan after weighing the risks.

After the team had moved a significant distance away, deep within the pitch-black cave, the deactivated Mechanical Monkey’s eyes abruptly reignited with a faint glow. It flung aside a massive boulder laying atop its body, straightened its towering frame, and began scanning its surroundings...

The God-Level Experts’ starting point was 200 kilometers away from Mount Kilimanjaro. But given their extraordinary stamina, the team was able to sprint across mountainous terrain at a pace faster than cars on a highway. However, their progress wasn’t without complications. The varied speeds among members, combined with mutual distrust, created a delicate dynamic—no one was willing to let anyone else out of their sight. Ultimately, the team adhered to the pace of its slowest member.

Despite this cautious rhythm, just past 2 AM, the elite team reached the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. The night was moonless and windy, but they were undeterred. As God-Level Experts, they could see clearly in the darkness. Even though their surroundings were shrouded in pitch black, they surveyed the area with ease.

After covering the 200 kilometers, everyone remained composed, except the Old Man of the Mountains, who had been repeatedly struck by Yan Fei. She appeared slightly out of breath, seemingly lagging behind. But this was a woman who had long established herself as a master of assassination, adept at crafting advantageous illusions. No one dared believe she was truly injured, nor did they let their guard down.

At the base of the mountain, the team began their climb. They chose a route along the north slope, a location already inaccessible and desolate—especially in the deep hours of 2 or 3 AM. During their ascent, they encountered numerous obstacles, but these challenges were trivial for them. As God-Level Experts, they scaled the mountain with effortless agility, and in no time, they approached Mount Kilimanjaro’s summit.

But the closer they got to the summit, the stronger their mounting sense of danger became. Their movements grew increasingly cautious, wary of alerting the Destiny Organization to their presence. An hour later, the entire team had assembled at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Mount Kilimanjaro was unlike other mountains in the world. Its uniqueness wasn’t merely in its peak reaching nearly 5,900 meters but also in its summit—a vast, flat platform. Observing from afar, one might even suspect the mountain once had a pointed tip that had been sliced off, leaving this snowy plateau at an altitude of 5,900 meters.

While they had previously looked at images of the mountain without noting anything unusual about its flat summit, now, recognizing this as the lair of the Destiny Organization, an eerie sense of unease crept into their hearts.

The high-altitude summit was bitterly cold, blanketed in snow, and thin in oxygen. But none of this phased the team. They trudged steadily through the snow, led by Tripiṭaka, who suddenly raised his fist—prompting everyone to halt.

Tripiṭaka crouched behind a large boulder, his gaze fixed on a minuscule mountain cave carved into a nearby cliff face. He spoke softly, "Everyone, that cave is the entrance to the Destiny Organization’s lair."
