Wielding the Fangtian Halberd, the Tianye Demon sneered, “Big talk for such a little fellow; even the Moonlight Fairy was defeated by me in the past, and you dare to bluster in front of me.”

Ye Chen smiled faintly, saying, “I know that the Moonlight Fairy didn’t lose because of lacking martial arts, but because she was ill. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have been able to defeat her. You won by sheer luck.”

The Tianye Demon’s Fangtian Halberd came slashing down, a flame devouring all the Silver Needles sent flying back.

With a loud shout, Silver Moon Fox commanded: “Exterminate them!”

“What an arrogance,” Jiang Zhuge faced off against Silver Moon Fox.

The Silver Moon Fox released their pitch-black monsters, each uglier than the last. If there was a competition for ugliness, no one could outdo them.

The Fangtian Halberd struck towards Ye Chen with lightning, and Ye Chen, not daring to be negligent, drew the somewhat familiar Moonlight Sword, creating an energy wave. The energy collided with the released lightning with a thunderous boom that shook heaven and earth.

This loud noise served as the beating of the war drums. For Ye Chen, it signified a success of sorts, at least indicating that the enemy had not detected the ambushed forces behind him.

The flat-nosed foe seemed to have no intention of being courteous with Ye Chen either. As the Fangtian Halberd released a Fire Dragon, Ye Chen dodged; the trees behind him were consumed by the flames. With a leap, Ye Chen’s sword emitted an energy wave, striking down from above the head of the flat-nosed Tianye Demon.

With a furious roar from the Tianye Demon, the Fangtian Halberd released a bolt of lightning, heading straight for the energy wave Ye Chen had emitted. Ye Chen’s energy was intercepted, but he freed one hand, conjured a giant wave with a palm strike, and the Sky Demon kicked out a fierce wind.

Ye Chen pulled out his sword and dodged, attacking from the side of the Tianye Demon.

The agile sword, in coordination with Ye Chen’s frenzied dragon palm, struck true.

This adversary was employing the martial arts of the Dragon Slaying Clan, not a descendant of the Moonlight Fairy.

With his rapid frenzied dragon palm, Ye Chen bombarded the Tianye Demon with a barrage.

The Tianye Demon, being a leader after all, naturally was not worried about being defeated; he merely wanted to gauge the extent of Ye Chen’s abilities.
