Thousands of Winged Dragons, like a dark cloud, pressed forward.

However, the Winged Dragons prepared by the realm of Immortal and Demons were not few in number either, unlike in Immortal City. They too released their prepared Winged Dragons and immediately started battling above the ramparts, as fireballs flew chaotically everywhere.

The roars and sounds of battle were unceasing, some were hit and fell down, some were burnt by fireballs, others struck by lightning, crashing into the city…

The sounds of slaughter disturbed the tranquility of the mountains, startling the birds within the forest into a frenzied flight.

For some reason, it was already noon today, yet the sun was nowhere to be seen. It seemed difficult to expect sunshine today.

The fireballs kept coming relentlessly, most of them stopped outside the city walls, but still, some made their way inside. Yet for the battle-hardened people of Demon Palace City, a few fireballs were hardly enough to cause them to panic.

Lou Xuancheng launched the prepped fireballs in the opposite direction, out of the city. The people inside the city would not be the only ones to endure fireballs; this was not their exclusive right.

The fireballs flew out of the city.

Mitra Monk would not allow the fireballs flying out of the city to explode among them. He opened an Energy Box and set up an array which acted like a huge energy shield. It released energy, and those energies attacked most of the fireballs like a barrage.

Brother Longhun (Dragon Soul) glanced at Old Du, who understood his intent and led a group of people up.

The city’s systems unleashed powerful energy. Without releasing the Sea Demons, Brother Longhun (Dragon Soul) knew victory over the people of the Immortal and Demon realm would be impossible. The Defense System of Demon Palace City was clearly much stronger than that of Immortal City.

Brother Longhun (Dragon Soul) then summoned Jing Po and asked, “Are the Lion-faced Beasts I told you to prepare ready?”

“Yes, rest assured, they are all prepared.”

Brother Longhun (Dragon Soul) knew that releasing Lion-faced Beasts now would most likely not be very effective since Demon Palace City’s Defense System was still powerful. “Only if we release the Sea Demons to entangle their Defense System and then release the Lion-faced Beasts will it be effective. With a bang, a box opened, and a white light appeared, from which an ethereal figure emerged, resembling a tree demon. Above its head, the sky suddenly filled with dark clouds, forming a vast vortex.

In the center of the vortex, it seemed as though an eye of heaven appeared, and a dazzling beam of energy descended from the sky, falling upon the body of that monster on the ground. Then, like a torrential stream of white light, it surged into the body of the tree demon-like creature.

It was the Sea Demon, absorbing the energy, growing larger and stronger.
