Jiang Zhuge added, “If the Big Bearded Man finds out about our alliance, he might try to retaliate against you, we have to maintain good communication.”

Xue Ran laughed and said, “They’ve been holding a grudge against us for years. They find us irritating, an obstacle to their nefarious plans. If they ever stop conspiring against us, we’d find it really odd.”

Everyone burst out laughing.
