Li Mo had already rushed over, exclaiming, “This scum deserves to be split in half.”

But Ye Chen said, “He still has his uses. Why kill him?”

Ye Chen glanced at the people behind him, chuckled, and asked: “What is the situation in Sky Domain City, and how many men does Gua Zhengnie still have there?”

The disciples dared not make a sound after a glance at Gui Lang.

Ye Chen stabbed the knife into Gui Lang’s arm. Gui Lang immediately started screaming, scaring the people behind him. Some of them had even wet themselves and blurted out, “I’ll tell you everything we know!”

Gui Lang’s eyes were glaring fiercely at Ye Chen.

Gui Lang let out another shriek and was about to curse when Ye Chen waved the knife in front of him and immediately silenced him.

Ye Chen shouted, “Li Mo, come here now. Remember not to let Gui Lang bleed to death and certainly don’t let him die. I still want to practise my hand with a few more stabs.” Then he stood up.

Li Mo said, “Don’t worry, I won’t let this bastard die.”

Ye Chen had already begun walking towards Ling’er.

“Why didn’t you kill them all? What’s the point of keeping them alive?” Ling’er asked.

“It won’t be fun if they’re killed. I’m keeping them for a reason.”

“Having to watch over them is such a chore, we hardly have any men left. We don’t even know how we’re going to break into Sky Domain City. Even if we get to know what’s happening inside, what use is it? I guess Gua Zhengnie, wouldn’t be so stupid as to not leave at least three or four hundred of his men inside the city.” said Ling’er.

“You’re right, but they’ll be our guides to the city. There’s no guaranteed victory going into a siege, but as long as they’re alive, they’re useful,” said Ye Chen

“You plan to have them lead us in.”

“Of course. Instead of trying our hardest to break in and possibly dying in the process, why not have Gua Zhengnie’s men lead us in?”
