“I’ve eaten at many beef noodles stalls, but this particular one is the most memorable.”

“Heartbroken over here?” Ye Chen asked while eating.

“Heartbroken your head! Do I look like someone who gets heartbroken easily? Try this grilled sesame seed cake with meat inside. It tastes even better when you eat it in combination.” Yuyun continued, “You can add some vinegar if you prefer stronger flavors.”

“Hehe, no need for that. I don’t have a heavy palate and might not handle a lot of food.”

“You came back from the Wastelands though. A northern diet is normally heavier, so you should have strong digestion.”

“Really? But I don’t seem to have gotten used to it. I prefer something simpler and less spicy.”

“Sure, as you wish.”

“What kind of meat is inside this grilled sesame seed cake with meat?”

“I’m not sure, it might be lamb, deer, or duck. But you can relax, it’s definitely not human meat. Let’s drink a small glass. You’re not planning on letting me drink alone, are you?”
