Jiang Zhuge had already made preparations, not only were there disciples from the New City Sect, but there were also individuals from the Demon Domain.

Slaughter Saint warned, “Hey, don’t celebrate too early.”

“Why not? They are about to act and the fruits of victory are soon to land in our laps.”

“Of course, they are ready to act.”

“I happen to know that the fog was thick this morning.”

The Mutant Winged Dragon could not have anticipated that Ye Chen and his men would take such an unanticipated measure. He strongly believed that Ye Chen and his forces would head to Demon Palace City and wouldn’t even consider retaliating.

However, just then, a sudden uproar from one side signaled an oncoming assault directed towards the Mutant Winged Dragon and his comrades. This was completely outside of his plan.

The Mutant Winged Dragon hurriedly got up, eager to know what was going on, “What has happened?”

Lang Ji ran back, “It’s Ye Chen’s men. They are marching towards us.”

“What?! How are we just discovering this?”

“The fog is too thick. Our soldiers can’t see clearly, they’ve duped us.”

The Mutant Winged Dragon asked, “Is it just Ye Chen and his men?”

Slaughter Saint asked, “Why have they suddenly counterattacked?” He was baffled.

Elder Xi Feng suggested, “Did they discover our ambush at the Turtle Mountain?”

Upon hearing this, Jing Po spoke, “We need to encircle them immediately then. Have Zen Master and his men quickly close in. Try to shrink their perimeter, we can’t let them escape.”

Elder Xi Feng put forward, “Zen Master and his men are quite far from here. It’s going to take them some time to arrive. They won’t be here immediately.”

Slaughter Saint questioned, “Did they truly discover us? Could this be just a test?”

He also told Elder Xi Feng and Meng Xiuluo to rush down and help.

Ye Chen had come with a deadly force. Since the Mutant Winged Dragon was unsure of their intentions at this stage, it presented an excellent opportunity for Ye Chen.

Once Ye Chen started his onslaught, Guo Mingyu and Qiao Fanfeng began their plan as well. They had no need to hide anymore. They quickly redirected their forces and attacked from behind, just like their plan had outlined.

Qiao Fanfeng, leading Ren Xiongbei and Guan Yi, took charge of dealing with Mitra Monk and his team. After days of lethal combat, they no longer feared the Army of Death and had gained expertise.

Guo Mingyu and Fang Ziren quickly joined the fight.
