“How did you know!” Ye Chen sat down on a stool as the boat slowly moved forward.

“I just knew you’d say that.”

Unexpectedly, there was tea available. Ye Chen poured himself a cup, while the boatman gently glided along the lakeside. Right in the middle of the lake, lotuses were planted, and the scent of the lotuses was at its most intense.

Nangong Yan quieted down too, knowing that such opportunities were becoming rarer and that these would turn into beautiful memories.
