Chapter 937: No Skipping Class
Chapter 937: Chapter 937: No Skipping Class
"Peter, we’re in trouble! My mom found out that we’ve been skipping class and is forcing me to go." Landon Smith called Peter Brown that night.
To make contacting him easier, Peter had given his phone number to them.
Upon hearing this, Peter laughed, knowing that skipping class was definitely unavoidable, but no parent would allow their child to completely refuse to attend school. However, now that Qi guiding into the body and Mind-opening were done, it wasn’t a big deal.
"Just go to class, it’s not a big deal."
"Peter, I think someone told our parents about us skipping class, otherwise, they wouldn’t know!"
Peter laughed and said, "It doesn’t matter. As long as you guys practice the Cultivation Techniques I taught you, your studies won’t fall behind. From tomorrow, let’s go to class, the last days of high school should be cherished."
Just after the call ended, Elian Collins called, "Peter, Mr. Carter just called my home, asking about you. I didn’t give him your number. The school is supposedly requiring us to return to class starting tomorrow."
"I know, let’s go to class tomorrow then."
After hanging up, Peter was certain someone had informed the parents of his classmates. There was no way they would allow their children not to attend school, especially at such a critical time.
The next morning, Peter entered the classroom.
As soon as he walked in, Landon Smith came over and said, "I found out that it was Bobby who told his mom, asking for permission to skip class like we did. That’s how it was leaked, and the school had no choice but to demand that we attend class."
Elian Collins added, "Mr. Carter did say that as long as we attend class, we can still take time off during school."
After talking for a bit, they started going to class.
The first class was English, and Flora Nelson glanced at Peter and his friends before starting her lesson.
Flora was puzzled by the unusual behavior of her usually rowdy students. They seemed focused, as if genuinely staring at their textbooks.
"Max Evans, stand up and read this passage."
Flora called on Max, who was engrossed in the text.
All the students looked at Max, knowing his English was terrible. How could he possibly read after Mr. Carter had just read it once?
However, to everyone’s amazement, Max calmly picked up the textbook and began reading aloud.
"No way!"
"He can actually read this text?"
"Am I seeing things?"
Although they couldn’t believe it, Max really did read the entire passage.
Now, even Flora was staring at Max with wide eyes, then glanced at Peter who seemed uninterested in what was going on. She suspected that this had something to do with Peter.
Max never thought he could actually read the text, and even felt like he could recite it effortlessly if asked to.
Not only Max, but Landon and the others were astonished as well. Attending class today felt easy, and they could remember everything after hearing it just once. Glancing at the textbook, they could understand the content they had learned before.
Was it really because of Peter’s Creed?
Yesterday, everyone felt that their memory had improved significantly. They could understand many textbook concepts after just one look. Today’s experience further proved it.
What a genius!
From this moment on, the seven students never doubted Peter again.
After Max sat down, Flora questioned Elian and the others and was increasingly shocked by the change in the students who followed Peter.
What on earth had happened?
Flora truly had no idea what had occurred.
After the English class, Flora called Peter to her office.
"Peter, how exactly did you tutor them? They seem like completely changed people."
"I didn’t tutor them. We were just about to start when the school asked us to return to class."
Peter pretended to be clueless.
"If you have any good study methods, you should share them with everyone so everyone can improve."
"Mr. Carter, I really don’t have any methods."
Flora looked at Peter again before letting him leave.
The morning passed, and Landon and the others felt happier than ever before.
When class ended, Landon walked up to Peter and said, "Peter, thank you. I’ve never been this confident before!"
Max was also excited, "It’s amazing! Following Peter has helped us improve so fast. Did you guys notice? We understood everything in today’s class, it’s like the knowledge we learned before is all connected now."
"Yeah, what kind of medicine did you give us, Peter?"
Hearing Daniel Roberts’ question, Landon said, "Daniel, if Peter wants to say something, he will. If he doesn’t want to, he won’t. Don’t ask questions you’re not supposed to."
Peter smiled slightly and said, "Your academic performance has nothing to do with me, remember that!"
Landon nodded firmly, "Understood! We’ll never tell anyone!"
Peter looked at them and said, "You must intensify your practice of the Cultivation Techniques I taught you. If you practice well, dealing with martial arts experts will be a piece of cake."
Having said that, Peter handed a piece of paper to Landon, "This is a recipe for a bone-strengthening medicine. Buy it, bathe in it. It’s good for your cultivation."
"Oh, and Peter, Edward Lee is not happy that you scored higher than him. He’s talking bad about you in class, saying you won’t beat him in the next exam." Chen Spencer told Peter.
With a slight smile, Peter said, "If you practice my Cultivation Techniques and review carefully, all seven of you can surpass him in the next exam."
"Really?" All his classmates were stunned, looking at Peter in disbelief.
"Do you have confidence?" Peter asked once more.
Daniel Roberts grinned bitterly, "You know our situation. We’re all academic slags, and Edward Lee is the top of the grade."
"If you’ve practiced my Cultivation Techniques and I’ve performed Mind-opening on you, and you still can’t beat him, don’t blame me for erasing your consciousness about these abilities." Having said that, Peter walked away.
"What?" The seven students exchanged glances, their faces bitter. What they feared most was losing these abilities.
"Guys, Peter has confidence, and so should we. Let’s work hard from now on and trust Peter!"
As Elian spoke, everyone nodded in agreement.
