Chapter 2301: Chapter 2299 Sect War

Peter Brown didn’t know how long he’d been cultivating here. Anyway, it was a good thing for him; his Elixir Sea had already merged with the rules of this realm. From now on, he wouldn’t be rejected by the rules. Due to the ample Breath Soil he had merged with, he was more aligned with the rules of Second Heaven than others, making his cultivation faster.

Time to head back!

The reason Peter came here was to find Breath Soil. Now that he not only found it but could also refine it, he considered his task complete and saw no need to linger here.

After pondering for a while, Peter once again refined a cauldron of Breath Soil, directly swallowing it into his Elixir Sea.

Peter had long had experience in this aspect. He knew well that as Breath Soil entered, his Elixir Sea would metamorphose into earth, moving towards the direction of the Earth Layer.

With a Water Technique, Peter bathed his entire body, changed his clothes, and felt he could freely fly.

However, Peter did not intend to fly, as he preferred to stay low-key. Though he knew much about the Great Void Sect in Second Heaven, Peter felt that the sect wasn’t as simple as it appeared; there were surely strong persons within, and until he gained absolute strength, he preferred to stay discreet.

Being in the forest, Peter placed a protective shield without worry. Poisonous insects and the like posed no threat to him here.

With his strong Divine Sense scanning places, Peter noticed many people in the forest searching for Breath Soil. Yet, Peter didn’t communicate with them and evaded them early on.

After another day’s journey, Peter was already close to the forest’s edge.

At this point, when Peter’s expression flickered, his body flashed, and he appeared before a small mountain far away.

While hiding to the side, Peter noticed two teams fighting there.

Rainbow Sect and Great Void Sect in battle?

Upon seeing their attire, Peter realized this type of battle situation.

Should I help?

Peter hesitated. Recalling the Great Void Sect’s situation, he felt the sect had some relation to him; at least he had escaped the mine thanks to their recruitment of disciples.

However, remembering the Great Void Sect encouraged families to send people into mines, Peter felt that his entering the mine also had ties to the sect.

Forget it, the sect’s actions balance out for me. Let them fight; I don’t need to do anything.

Thinking this, Peter was too lazy to watch them fight, and directly headed towards the sect.

While journeying, Peter realized the two sides seemed to have started an intensely fierce battle; everywhere had people engaged in fighting.

This battle appears intense. Should I return?

Shaking his head, Peter knew he still needed to find the entrance path to the Human World from the Great Void Sect, especially through the Sullivan Sect, since the Harrison clan was their affiliate. Now that the Harrison clan can’t enter First Heaven, only through the Sullivan Sect.

Through Soul Search from Mason Walker, Peter learned the Sullivan Sect had an elder here. That elder must be battling with Rainbow Sect now.

Peter didn’t hope Sullivan Sect would be destroyed again, leading to difficulty finding the entrance to the Human World.

Right, after opening First Heaven World, there’s surely a way to reopen it after sealing it. It’s just that I don’t know it yet; I must check if there’s related information in the sect’s Collection of Books.

Realizing this, Peter knew he wanted to visit the Great Void Sect.

Fortunately, many inner disciples without much cultivation like Peter were around now amidst the chaos. People were running everywhere, paying no attention to Peter’s situation.

Seeing this, Peter felt relaxed and soon returned to his residence.

Peter’s place was quite secluded, and upon returning, no one disturbed him.

However, upon entering the room, Peter noticed a mission token appearing at the spot he had purposely set for receiving tokens.

Couldn’t avoid it!

Seeing the token, Peter understood that with both sides in battle, the sect wouldn’t allow disciples to evade combat.

Picking it up, Peter indeed saw it was a mission order, requiring disciples to participate in the battle, and each disciple must pay ten thousand points. If unable to pay ten thousand, they must exchange items for it.

Can items be used for points?

Peter pondered and understood that some wealthy individuals might avoid the fight; the sect was leveraging this matter to obtain points, benefiting both sides.

Ten thousand points worried Peter not at all; now he possessed not less than One hundred thousand points. Only needing ten thousand, he indeed didn’t fancy entering the battle.

Sitting in meditation for two days until his body was fully recovered, Peter then left home and went outside.

Walking on the street, Peter distinctly felt the place had become much sparser; the usual bustling personnel vanished.

However, Peter still noticed the lower rank cultivators were busy, trying to take on some low-rank tasks.

After inquiring, Peter understood, the sect’s ten thousand points task exchange was disastrous for lower-ranked disciples. Acquiring ten thousand points proved extremely difficult for them.

"Hmph, only if I kill a Rainbow Sect disciple, I get ten thousand points. Sadly, how can I kill a Rainbow Sect person!"

"Kill an ordinary disciple to get ten thousand points; don’t you know, if you kill one of their Foundation Establishment Cultivators, you’ll directly get a million dollars in points."

"You jest, how could I kill such a master."

The two laughed and left.

Listening, Peter secretly felt ashamed that he didn’t know so many rules.

Better head to the Book Storage Tower!

Peter collected his thoughts and headed towards the Book Storage Tower.

"With a token, the first time is free; the second time requires ten thousand points to enter."

Looking at the rules here, Peter could only shake his head.

After handing over the token, Peter earnestly entered the Book Storage Tower.
