Chapter 1792: Chapter 1790: Raid on the Prisoner of War Camp
Peter Brown had now completely changed his mind; since this identity was so useful, why not make use of it?
Fortunately, this time Peter had obtained a large number of Divine Stones, allowing everyone to practice the Seven Star Formation here before he returned to his tent.
After all, even Prince Harvey and those two Seven Star Experts didn’t have too many Top-grade God Stones in their Rings. Peter searched for a while and only managed to find about a hundred Top-grade God Stones. There were quite a few of medium quality, and even more of lower quality.
After some thought, Peter decided to inscribe all those Top-grade God Stones into Energy Bombs—these things were life-saving devices, the more the better.
Then there were the medium-grade God Stones, which could be used by those above Two Stars, and then some lower-grade God Stones for those at the level of One Star.
Of course, Peter didn’t forget to inscribe some defense talismans; the Power from the explosion of the Energy Talismans was also vast, and he didn’t hope his Subordinates would be harmed by the backlash.
Several Energy Gathering Arrays were set up to charge, with completed Stones being placed into the Energy Gathering Arrays one by one.
After a day, Peter stopped inscribing because time waited for no one. He didn’t know what might have happened to those prisoner of war camps after so much time had passed. If everyone had been moved away, then it would really be meaningless.
However, after nearly two days of inscribing and charging, a large number of Energy Bombs were successfully produced.
When Peter appeared before everyone again, their eyes all turned to him.
"First, I will show you the attack capabilities of the Energy Bombs."
Peter also knew that everyone still had some concerns. He launched an Energy Bomb towards a mountain.
As the Energy Bomb was thrown, everyone saw the mountain being blasted and collapsing halfway.
Seeing the Power of the Energy Bomb, Peter smiled and said, "Do you all have confidence now?"
Dennis Brown said, "Your Highness, rest assured, we have already made up our minds. This is a do-or-die operation; we are not afraid to die!"
"Good, as long as you fight with me, I will not let you down after our victory. Report your Family Members’ situation to me, and even if you die, I will take care of your families."
With Peter’s promise, everyone’s morale soared again.
Afterwards, it was time for Peter to distribute the Energy Bombs. Each person was given an allocation according to their place in the Formation, with those at One Star being able to activate only lower-grade Energy Bombs. Peter had no choice but to distribute ten lower-grade Energy Bombs to each of them. With one bomb at a time, the seven of them would have the strength for seventy strikes, whereas those above Two Stars would use medium-grade Energy Bombs, also ten per person, naturally stronger in Power.
Dennis Brown and others each received ten Energy Bombs inscribed from Top-grade God Stones. Their targets were the Seven Star Experts, and of course, they were also given some medium-grade Energy Bombs.
After distributing, Dennis quickly estimated the situation and became confident. Turning to Peter, he said, "Our One Star people have the attack strength of Three Stars. Eight One Star Seven Star Arrays equate to fifty-six Three Star Experts. And that’s not all; the other two hundred plus people can deliver a Five Star attack. This is no ordinary Power. It’s as if we have over two hundred Five Star Experts. This Power can get us anywhere. And if the seven of us can tap into Seven Star Battle Strength, we would be equivalent to seven Seven Star Experts. Moreover, if every Energy Bomb has the Power to cause serious damage, each of our Formations can strike like seventy Seven Star Experts. This is too powerful!"
Peter distributed the defense talismans once more and said, "These Talismans can withstand ten attacks from a Seven Star Power. Using the Seven Star Formation in combination with the defenses should minimize our injuries."
Hearing about such items, everyone’s eyes shone brighter. They hadn’t expected His Highness to have so many tactics up his sleeve; their confidence in the upcoming camp attack grew stronger.
"Let’s go!"
Seeing the high spirits of his men, Peter packed up the tent and led them towards the direction of the nearest prisoner of war camp.
Weston Hendricks, who generally knew the direction, led the way.
Along the route, Peter exchanged tactics with his men, sharing some of the tactical deployment methods used among the Lower Realm’s Secular Governments.
Though they were only over three hundred strong, Peter knew that this was the basis of his force here, and he didn’t wish for them all to perish in one battle.
Initially, Dennis and the others were attracted by Peter’s identity, but as Peter shared his knowledge, especially showing them the Energy Bombs, their respect for Peter grew, and their hearts warmed up to the idea that following such a character could lead to great opportunities.
Half a day later, they had penetrated deep into the Rear battlegrounds, where the Blue Star Divine Nation Army began to increase in presence.
With Peter’s potent Divine Sense, everyone carefully concealed their movements as they proceeded towards their target.
"Your Highness, that valley ahead should be it," Weston murmured, pointing to the front.
Peter had everyone stop, then he looked ahead.
At first glance, Peter’s brow furrowed a little; it was evident that the Enemy Army had some Great Power guarding this place, and breaking through would be extremely difficult.
"Your Highness, it’s better to thoroughly scout out the enemy’s situation before attacking," suggested Dennis in a low voice.
"Send out scouts, observe carefully."
"Alright, I’ll dispatch them immediately."
Peter ordered everyone to lie in wait here; now, all he could do was wait for the results of the Investigation.
As time went by, the situation in the valley gradually became clear—it was completely surrounded by high mountains, with no chance of escape, guarded heavily only at the entrance by the Blue Star Kingdom’s Flying Star Army.
Upon learning about the Flying Star Army, Peter gained some understanding; it seemed this Army was talked about in the military as well, a formidable force of ten thousand Four Star Experts.
Dennis became solemn after learning it was the Flying Star Army, saying to Peter, "The Flying Star Army is strong, mostly comprised of Four Star Experts. Even if only part of them are here, it’s enough to protect this place. Besides, the General of the Flying Star Army is said to be a Seven Star Peak Expert, on the verge of reaching Eight Star. Your Highness, it will be tough to fight."
