Chapter 1211: Chapter 1211: Sect Scripture Tower_1
Peter Brown only realized when he arrived at the Scripture Tower that it wasn’t exclusively for storing scriptures, but was actually a treasure hall.
"Why is it called the Scripture Tower?" Peter looked at Harry White, puzzled.
With a hearty laugh, Harry White said, "Initially, this place stored the Sect’s scriptures. Later, as the Sect grew, the seniors simply expanded it. See that? Those three characters, Scripture Tower, were written by the Founding Ancestor. It is said they contain his Cultivation Technique. However, no one has been able to perceive it, so the characters have never been changed."
So that was it!
Peter stood there and started to look at it carefully.
Upon close inspection, Peter found the three characters to be full of aura, especially as they contained a hint of the Dao’s essence.
In the Phantom Realm, Peter had come to understand Dao affinity all too well. Although the essence was weak, he managed to grasp it completely.
Just then, Peter noticed the Ruyi Furnace tremble, followed by a suction force directed at those three characters.
When he looked at the characters again, Peter found that the hint of the Dao’s essence had vanished.
What’s going on?
Peter had no idea what the Ruyi Furnace was up to and started to worry. If the characters lost their essence of the Dao, they might soon be destroyed.
However, no particular changes were evident for now.
At that moment, some people dressed in the clothing of true disciples were entering and leaving the Scripture Tower. Everyone seemed accustomed to the presence of the three characters and had not noticed their weakening aura.
"Go on in. If you see anything you need, use your Identity Card to claim it. If that’s not enough, use mine. I need to go to a meeting first."
Harry White passed his Identity Card to Peter as well.
This Harry White really is good to Leo White!
Peter couldn’t help but feel moved.
After entering, Peter discovered that the place was indeed a Heavenly Cave, quite different from what it seemed outside. The inside was a vast domain divided into many areas, guarded by powerful masters sitting cross-legged.
Standing at the entrance and surveying the area, Peter’s eyes lit up. He didn’t rush towards the Cultivation Technique section but headed to the materials section first.
There weren’t many people in the materials area, so Peter took his time to look around.
With just one look, Peter’s eyes gleamed with excitement. He had already obtained materials for two of the Five Elements, and now he discovered the remaining three.
Checking the points required for exchange, Peter was thrilled. His recent contributions to the Sect were substantial, enough to exchange for these materials.
The thought of being able to craft the Five Elements Thunderbolt Blade made Peter’s heart race. While he was still three types short of the Omnidirectional Thunderbolt Blade, having five types would greatly enhance his combat power, allowing him to set up a Five Elements Blade Formation.
With this in mind, Peter took a closer look and found that with the materials he had gained from the resource battle, he had enough to craft the Five Elements Thunderbolt Blade.
Without hesitation, Peter took the materials straight to the exchange area. After a good portion of his points were deducted, he had already stored the materials in his Ring.
Alright, with such materials, his combat power was sure to significantly increase.
Only then did Peter head over to the Cultivation Technique section.
Once there, Peter discovered that there were quite a few Cultivation Techniques for controlling Demon Beasts and Immortal Beasts.
Peter Brown sat cross-legged inside, learning from others as he flipped through the different Cultivation Techniques, comparing them with his own "Immortal Power Transformation Technique."
After a few hours had passed, thinking that he might have to deal with people from the Beast Sect, Peter used points to exchange for a "Demon Banishing Technique."
Reflecting for a moment, he was a member of the Ghost Expelling Sect. It was imperative to practice the Sect’s Cultivation Techniques, so Peter also exchanged for a "Flying Bird Technique," which was a type of physical technique that enabled one to fly through the air.
After exchanging these items, Peter walked out from the inside.
"Zavier, you’re awesome!"
At this time, Benjamin Woods had come to greet him.
Seeing that this youngster had actually survived, Peter asked with a wave of his pen, "I didn’t notice you guys since there were many of us when we came back. Everyone’s still alive, right?"
"We’re fine, we’re all alive. It’s just that you’re too awesome, you actually got the first place."
Peter laughed and said, "Alright, we’ll get together when we have time, I’ll treat."
"Sure, I’m going to exchange some things too. I’ll contact you then."
Seeing Benjamin Woods heading inside, Peter shook his head. When he returned, he had gone into closed-door cultivation on his Flying Magical Artifact immediately, not really checking on the others. He didn’t expect that they also had life-saving measures and had survived.
"Peter, what did you exchange for?"
Hearing Harry White’s inquiry, Peter replied, "I’ve obtained a set of Sword Techniques and I want to refine some elemental swords, so I exchanged for some elemental materials."
Nodding, Harry White said, "Just do what you think is right. If you need points, you can take them from me."
Peter returned Harry White’s Identity Card and said, "I have enough now. Once I get back, I will be in closed-door cultivation for a while."
A smile spread across Harry White’s face; seeing such a significant change in his son, he truly felt joyful.
Looking at Harry White like this, Peter wasn’t quite sure what to say, and unexpectedly felt a twinge of guilt.
However, he quickly dismissed such thoughts and focused instead on what he needed to do now: to dramatically upgrade his cultivation, ensuring his combat power could cope with the impending dangers.
Once back at Hudson Manor, Peter sat down and began to chat leisurely with Harry White.
"Peter, you were too remarkable this time. Elder Cook proposed during today’s meeting that you represent our Sect in the Divine Consciousness Battlefield. When I opposed it, surprisingly no one supported me!"
As he mentioned this, Harry White’s face turned somber.
"Divine Consciousness Battlefield?"
Peter looked at Harry White, puzzled.
"Several Sects had once obtained a Heavenly Stone; this stone contains a powerful spiritual power, which is said to be the condensed Divine Sense of a Strong Person. Inside the stone, there are many levels, and reaching a certain level could grant access to some of the Cultivation Techniques left behind. It is suspected that the core might hold the inheritance of the Divine Sense Technique from that Strong Person. Each year, some with powerful Divine Senses earn the quota to enter the Divine Consciousness Battlefield to seek their fortune. I didn’t want you to go, but there’s a rule that the top three of the resource battles must participate."
Upon hearing this, Peter understood that Elder Cook intended to ruin him.
"Is there a risk if one’s Divine Sense enters?"
"Yes, that’s precisely why I don’t want you to enter. You must understand, the battles inside are fought entirely with Divine Sense. If one’s Divine Sense is too weak, they might never come out, or even suffer a collapse of their Divine Sense and die."
